Artemis is cute as fuck, but the lewd scenes kinda suck in this game. Just make a Artemis movie of her cooing the whole time already and drop this game.

Too much time wasted with Artemis or talking about AI shenanigans. She's cute and interactions with her are fun but with a big roster of girls and the slow development cicles, this can be exhausting for some players.

It looks like Zelda is the most demanding LI in the game. If the audience likes her in this thread, then Zelda seems worth a try and she's not like Jill from BaDIK, who is the standard quiet and shy girl, a virgin, but also very poorly written.
And in the end, Atremis is one of those few games that are worth the time spent on multi-branching.

As much as I normally look forward to the lewd scenes. I'm 100% fine with this update. I love the story being told and enjoy the writing. The animations, sound, the art in general are awesome.

Changed my computer about 2 months ago, my AVN library, including Artemis, was on SSDs that I had to switch to my new PC.
Mistakenly thought saves were in AVN directories, so lost most of my saves.
I have to start over most of those games, to get where they're at in their updates, in some cases, looks kinda like a chore to me, but in others, not so much.
Like Artemis.
I have to say, starting Artemis over again is a charm, damn I missed that story, those characters, started again last night, am just in the middle of Ch.2 (discussion by the japanese pond with Dr.K, she's lovable), and shit, the feels... love the fact all the characters in that game are flawed, makes them more 'normal', more 'real', as far as AVNs go, of course.
Well-written AVNs are my thing, 'I play for the story', literally, lewds are simply bonuses, nothing more, but becomes way more when the writing/build-up is up to par.
Obviously didn't play the new update yet, but I see some people unhappy there's only 1 lewd scene in it... and I'm a bit baffled by this. Are you seriously playing a game like Artemis for sex scenes ?

Not that big of a deal to be honest, even though I said it looked like a chore, if I enjoy(ed) something, I usually can put my memory on hold, kinda, and don't have trouble re-living something fully.

Dear digi.B, if you download only the update and want to play again from the beginning to see the new reworked parts, they don't work (white screen, only the dialogues on the screen and the name of the scene at the top) and moreover some mp3 tracks are missing (3 or 4 in the chapter 3, if I remember correctly) and the game crashes to desktop. In the prologue, if you try to save (only in the prologue), the game doesn't do so due to the inability to write the save correctly with an error in the "time" option on the save itself. So I had to re-download the entire game , to avoid the missing parts. Everything is solved , except the problem of generating the save in the prologue.
For the rest it is one of the most beautiful, deep and fun games I have ever played.

Such an awesome update !
Interacting with Artemis was everything I wanted and more. She's cute, she's learning and there's a lot of hiccups along the way. Just perfect.
The moments with her and Kindra are just amazing ; and since I didn't chase after anyone else, I dunno how the evening with the other girls went but I'm betting on great.
Only problem, Zelda is hurt.... I hope there's still someway to be friend with her. If it was not for Kindra, Zelda would've been my N°1 (equal with June)
Side note on the animations (especially the Kindra foreplay and the satellite one) : simply gorgeous ; some of the best animations I've seen on any VN.
I'm also pissed that Vulvamort was able to get some of Koko's old code... I hope she choke on it
Anyway, a smaller cliffhanger but it'll serve as a catalyst to bring Initium Vitas into the fold.
I'm so hyped for what's next.

I wouldn't worry about the code, it's written in Python.
All jokes put aside, she'll probably get it working with that code. However I don't think it will be anywhere near Artemis levels, so they'll rush a release on the bots and end up humiliated by MC and Kindra.

Those Miel games are porn games. If the dev scrapped most of the story and those thousands of renders per update were just sex then you'd have a point.

Yeah it's really stupid and convoluted, no shot they would try that solo. There's also no reason to. Could/Should keep it locked up and get Cops/SWAT involved. As she says, there wouldn't have been anything valuable in there if they hadn't placed Koko's old body on display there. Nor should it be of value, it doesn't make a lot of sense to have the code still running on a decommissioned device.
She didn't have the code, nor did the MC. As he said "She forced me to delete it, and start over". Or something along those lines. So she has the code written from scratch, after Koko. Not the actually well working doggo code. Again it's really odd to leave the 'chip' in.
Sometimes you find the issue instantly. Sometimes you pour over the code for hours becoming none-the-wiser. I like what they did with the V bit, sometimes a fresh pair of eyes sees what stale eyes have blinded themselves to. Considering it's written in Python it's more believable
.The creator really wanted an interaction with V it seems, would've made more sense to take her to the sorority if they really wanted her to interact with other people. Bit forced and rushed this way, especially considering the break-in.
Already addressed the first part of your criticism above.
The 6 Billion Dollar Girl is a reference to the 6 Billion Dollar Man, who is 'enhanced by bionics'. If we extrapolate that to her reactions to Artemis, it's clear that she knows/suspects more than she's letting on. I think the author is trying to portray it as 'fishing for information' by V, but it could've been made a little more obvious. Hence remarks like the bio-luminescence lenses. I think she quickly realizes she won't be getting that information from Artemis, hence her inviting MC to her place. She's building trust. She's repeatedly telling herself to not get involved in other people's business, but it's too juicy for her not to.
If this was the author's goal this could've/should've been more visible in V's expressions. Though I don't think she's expecting "Android", she's probably expecting top-of-the-line bionics.
Kindra is probably autistic as fuck, hence her getting really frustrated with Artemis over the box. But that also is a reference to a meme:

She also went from an easy life with no pressure, to suddenly having to be in the spotlight. It's a big change, and it's affecting her. She also wants Artemis to be ready for the Expo and she has no experience with parenting. It's a learning process for her as well.
TL;DR could've been done better, but it's not intrinsically illogical.

And the porn is a significant part of the purpose of this VN, whether or not it's driving the story. Otherwise, there wouldn't be so many close ups of the sex acts.

Even the eyes of the characters are off screen. The entire point is the sex. That image depicts an explicit sex act with the express purpose of eliciting arousal. The next choice selections after that aren't about character depth or story development but instead they are about whether you want to see MC let cass ride him cowgirl, to pound her doggystyle, or whether to spooge in her mouth. Nothing artsy fartsy about it aside from the Dev's incredible CG skills. That is definitively porn.
Now, if you were to show that image to anyone - literally fucking anyone - and then ask them whether they think it's porn, they will laugh at you for asking such a silly question.

If I remember well, the code of old Coco was altered after, I don't remeber if it was MC himself, or Kindra she had the Code where she contributed with the MC but not the other version, I can be mistaken as well,
