Why is it hard to believe that someone who had a suicidal meltdown is struggling financially at the START of the story?

Why is it hard for you to believe that said person would go to his still-bestie-after-failed-attempted-relationship and she would try her best to find him work at the START of the story?

Why is it hard for you to accept that he'd miraculously meet his old high-school working partner who is able to bail him out of his dire situation at the START of the story?

Why would you be shocked that a sorority in a game hosted on a SITE THAT PROMOTES PRIMARILY PORN GAMES would have such a lewd contest to admit its newest pledges, and that the MAIN CHARACTER of the story would somehow be roped into participating in the contest? In what is still the START of the story?

What SHOULD have surprised you was that said main character DIDN'T ACTUALLY SUCCEED in the task asked of him. If the antagonist of the scene hadn't been so excited she swallowed the evidence of his failure, she would have probably been deemed to have won, reinforcing that the MC is not some kind of perfect sexual freak.

What's ridiculous is not that you didn't like any of this. It's that you saw all this and thought "how can anyone like this?" and felt the need to be rude in your expression of that opinion.

What's ridiculous is that you felt so insulted by someone suggesting you might enjoy the game more if you gave it a chance that you insulted their username, listed all the opening story points, and then implied that only someone stupid could accept and enjoy such a story.

I am a big time simp of Artemis, but that is very out of place and character with the rest of the game. Almost feels like it was thrown in at the start to show that this game has lewd scenes and I rank it about same level with voyeurism and dreams in other 0.1 games.

The fact that women like Reina, Paige and Zelda would participate in something like that its not realistic with how they are portrayed in the rest of the game, but the worst part is they use girls that pledge the sorority as collateral damage in the prank to humiliate their ' 'enemy'. Makes them look really bad in retrospect.

Thankfully the rest of the game is miles better than whatever digi was trying with the college themed subplot.

Paige and Katy do point out they dredged it up out of the "old code" as an attempt to oust an annoying problem. Yes, it's mostly out of character for the older girls, especially Reina, at this point in their lives, but it's also out of apparent desperation, and not completely foreign to any of them.

It's also still an X-rated adult game, so it's in no way out of character for the genera.
