VN Ren'Py Artemis [v0.6.2b] [digi.B]

Updated my compressed Android port of _ARTEMIS with Scrappy's walkthrough mod to v0.6.

Got some basic gestures loaded in: swipe up for save menu, swipe down to hide UI, swipe left to rollback and swipe right to skip. Save files are now stored in the Documents folder. This sometimes means that you may need to close and re-open the port after installing so the save folder is properly created.

Due to the size of this game, I've split it out so there are additional steps to install.

Install instructions:

1. Download zip file
2. Use an app like RAR to unzip the file. Standard browsers have issues with large zip files
3. Install the apk file from the zip file
4. Run the game once to load into the menu and then close the game. This will allow the port to set up the required folder in your Documents folder
5. Move the archive.rpa file from the zip file to Documents/Eonor/e.artemis/game
6. Restart the game

If you do not read the instructions and ask for help because the install doesn't work, you will be laughed at and told to read the instructions.

Please let me know if you encounter any issues with the ports and I'll see what I can do to get them sorted.

That's fair. I feel somewhat the same way then it comes to harem games. I generally try the game out because of the Romance tag, a tag which gets brutalized by Harem games and NTR games alike so it's refreshing to see games with straight paths for characters. It not only makes the characters a priority but shows off the Devs range more versus lumping them all together all the time.

I feel that too. For me good characters are what make good story, most of the time. And how someone can say stuff like "i love you with all my heart", "i can't get enough", stuff like that and banging 5+ woman at the same time?

Women are already agreeing with harems in RL, it's called tinder dating. They're ALL going for the top 10 percent of men. They HAVE to share if they want a chance at the men they actually want.

ALso, you can most certainly have romance with multiple people. Men are wired to be able to fall in love with multiples, women just want the best man they can find. It's why actual harems work in RL.

You can really romance multiple woman, doesn't mean it will end well. Most of the time trouple or more end poorly and they are frustrated person on the harem. I know it's just one exemple (i know other exemples) but this one make my mark when i was young. My uncle was in a trouple relationship with a married woman and her husband. They lived together and i didn't even understand what they where at the time (my parents didn't explain ). On the surface everything was fine but the husband suicide himself when i was around 4 or 5 i guess. The worst part of it? The trouple did have KIDS! Yeah to each their own and i can't generalize from exemples but sometime honesty isn't part of the deal in these IRL harem.

I mean it could be 1 or it could be a million of them. Either the game is well done or it's not. But to each his own I suppose. However.... what? How can't romance work with harem exactly? If the dev today, went back and allowed you access to the girls. All that romance content you seem to be currently enjoying. Wouldn't magically disappear, just because you would now be able to explore more in one save. Problem is, a lot of harems start to choose quantity over quality. And then sometimes for some godforsaken reason. Keep hitting the add waifu button. Making it a shallow numbers game.

For me, i've yet to find a romance who work with harem. Like i said earlier, how can you say that you love someone very much, that you will be forever here for her, etc... and banging someone else the next day? Yeah it can work i suppose but you will be on the superficial level with each woman. You can't be with each woman "until death do us part" if you have already have to separate your time with multiple woman. In essence, having multiple romance at the same time weaken each of these romance.
Also it's weird if the woman herself aren't getting in love with each other too. If trouple count, some game are really trying like BaDIK, but i'm not sure we are here to my liking yet. (and i'm not sure the dev will not end the trouple whatever you do)
So i don't close the door to be able to see a good harem with romance one day; but i don't think i will find that.

this game on steam, is it not up to date? It just says book one with no mention of it being updated. Also can I use something like the Multi-Mod for steam purchased games?

No, Book 1 is only chapter 1-4, Book 2 digi wants to give early access on steam and will contain chapter 5-8 it was said. So with steam version you are missing the latest 2 chapters currently until early access happens ( not sure when that wil be )

Artemis won't be dumbed down to 'harem-level', don't worry, some here are simply delusional about how life works, or mere virgins who can't date and pushes their harem power fantasy. Also, seems like they don't understand Artemis at all, probably here just for the scenes or something.

Could see some possible polyamorous paths, though, which is entirely different, and would actually fit some character arcs.

I seen mention of a shooting mini game here, but just finished the update and I didn't have that? Did I miss something somehow? The compition was mentioned when MC droped his phone off but that was it. I don't rmember turning off mini games but maybe I did?

Don't worry on my first playthrough somehow I didn't get any lewd scenes! Not even Kindra. I didn't get Paige or Reina either until my last playthrough where I followed a walkthrough to get maximum points with them. Also I believe that being on Zelda's path blocks Paige's scene. Just like going on the date with Reina blocks Katy's.

Yes, it really does encourage multiple playthroughs and saves to get the girls and scenes that you want. It also makes perfect sense that girls who live together and see the MC with those girls would be like "Wait a minute..." especially the ones who aren't just looking for a no strings hookup.
