Could be one to something with that you know don't know if it was directly for kandice or if she was helping and there's at least on reference in the game about how kindras parents liked greek mythologyThat’s a good point about the tech still being early-stage — Artemis clearly pushes the limits of what Enzo and Nora had developed. But I keep circling back to the emotional weight of that “pleasant memory” scene. Kandice tearing up felt deeply personal, almost like she was revisiting a moment with someone she lost. I got the impression it might've been her daughter, Gemma — and that Artemis could be a continuation of that grief.
So my theory is: Kandice, possibly alongside Kindra’s parents, was trying to build an AI/android modeled after her daughter — not just physically, but emotionally, through memory preservation or neural mapping. That might be what the “old project” referred to. Artemis could be that result — a kind of hybrid attempt at digital resurrection.
Again, this is just speculation, but the way Artemis reacts and grows emotionally might be more than just advanced programming.
By the way, does anyone know how many chapters this VN is expected to have?
In ancient Greek religion and mythology, Artemis (/ˈɑːrtɪmɪs/; Ancient Greek: Ἄρτεμις) is the goddess of the hunt, the wilderness, wild animals, transitions, nature, vegetation, childbirth, care of children, and chastity.[1][2] In later times, she was identified with Selene, the personification of the Moon.[3] She was often said to roam the forests and mountains, attended by her entourage of nymphs. The goddess Diana is her Roman equivalent
But that's all I've got haha
