People read stories to feel related to inspiring characters that show development, growth, maturity and overcoming great odds. The only real "great odds" here are whether he can get over getting fucked over, but I swear any guy that was fucked over and found himself living with Kindra, with several sorority girlfriends, and didn't have to worry about money would be banging the shit out of all of them and having a proper blast."

Man I gotta say. While the girls themselves are pretty cool, sweet, hot, well-done, and all that good stuff. The MC in this game is fucking fun. Usually you mostly rely on the LI's to do a lot of the heavy lifting. But our guy? Does his own carrying. Just a good hearted goofball and I love it.

The first scene in the Shrink Office seals this game for me. When the MC goes nuts I simply can't stop laughing. Tower of Cocks... kills me every time...

Thats why all the complaints about the MC being 'soy' or 'whiney' or a 'loser' bug me. He has both positive and negative traits (like all real people). It's ok for a story to have an infallible perfect character, but when it isnt offset with 4th wall recognition, or comedy its rapidly becomes boring and the story suffers.
show me a person without flaws, and i'll show you they're a person without accomplishment.

I’m honestly puzzled by all the fuss over the MC - then again, everyone’s got their own tastes. My first brush with him was in "Leap of Faith", so I was a bit taken aback when he turned up here. Personally, I find him pretty likable - he’s got that fun blend of humor & sly references that keeps things interesting. Age-wise, he hits the sweet spot: not too young, not too old, and he’s got a friendly face that can shift to mischievous in a heartbeat.
It certainly doesn’t hurt that the developer is a master at capturing those spot-on facial expressions, either

Oh I agree 100%.......it's just one of many reason I put this game up there in my top 5.
Looking forward to chapter 6. Maybe we will get lucky and it drops before February ends
