There is a wildcard in play as well. Assuming she manages to stay alive, Venezia has a class-wide effect that will randomly trigger at the start of each period, depending on her mood. The effect lowers the virtue, and applies negative traits including Evil to every card in the class during the period that the effect is active, so you could end up doing a murder as well.
Oof. Although characters with massive roster effects or weirdly stacked roster effects are kinda toxic if you want a casual / serious sandbox experience. I once wondered why one single NPC kept coming up to me to immediately fight me, rape me, or kill me at the start of the first day 100% of the time. It turns out they had every single trait in the game stacked on them and my in-dev testing modules did not account for one character having literally every trait on them. So yeah. Good luck with you your roster, the arena experience will be notable.

It what appears to be the traits tab, assuming it doesn't scroll up or down any further, I only count 26 traits, which is down from the 38 traits that AA2 has.
There is actually some form of gameplay in comparison to KK.

Yeah, you're still in. I haven't progressed any further yet. It's still day 2 after the first murder. Alester considers you a cheater though for being forced by Venezia, so you might be in trouble if the relationship between you two gets too low.
Well, since its day 2, we will see if my prediction of lasting till wednesday (tomorrow) will stand. The chick will either do nothing or hammer down on that "Cheater!" status... i honestly have no idea what governs that, so its going to be interesting. Keep me posted.
As far as I know, once the evil character catches their lover having sex with someone else they are then flagged for potential murder, even if they were forced. If the relationship is low enough it'll flip to the TOGETHER FOREVER status, but even that can be reversed if they can get the relationship back up. They remain permanently flagged for murder, but as long as the relationship stays high enough they'll be fine. The only way out for you is if somebody else decides to kill Alester, which often happens in my experience since she tends to agitate a lot of people.
You know, its silly that theres no differentiation between willingly cheating on your partner and being forced to have sex, in relation to the "cheater!" status (or the evil characters shenanigans). When you interrupt a rape, one of the characters (the perp) will spout out their annoyed line, but the one forced will just "say" (...).
Yeah there should definitely be a distinction for normal characters. Evil characters probably wouldn't care about the distinction either way.

All ima say is this: dont get discouraged by your first experience with the game. We have all been where you are, without knowing why or how. AA2 is the only game with "fair" NTR - one you can effectively fight and prevent, whilst retaining the usual prizes. In fact, you can manipulate your surroundings to a point, where will be able to stand tall and proclaim:
