I shut the game off - sailor suit bug -- then I went to reload and all the saves were gone!!! Too bad. Love the game but not a big fan of having to start over. Was thinking of joining Patreon, but not if those games are buggy as well.

Join Patreon anyway. It looks like the "continue" button disappears when I put on the sailor uniform and sometimes at the beginning when she puts on one of the first outfits.

You know what I love about this game? The skip button. You know what I hate about this game? That the skip button keeps skipping when you get to the naughty bits. The whole point of a skip button in an adult game is so you can get to the naughty bits more quickly, not fly right past them. There should be a "pause on lewds" option in the menu.

Speaking of skipping, the die roll animation was really fun and immersive for like the first two minutes, and then I realized how much it slowed the fights down (especially when the die has to wobble a little before landing). There should be an option to skip the die roll animation and just get the result. Honestly, I like the idea of having D&D style fights, but the actual implementation of it doesn't provide much in the way of interesting decisions, so it's just kind of a grind to get through, and anything to speed that up would be appreciated.
I've drastically increased the speed of the dice roll in newer version (including an option in the menu to make it near instantaneous). Hope that helps.

That happened to me as well, managed to get past the fight again and it continued so maybe just got lucky the second time, although when I got to the final boss of the pirates the debuff from arousal was so high that I could only land a hit on a 19 or 20 and they could hit on a 10 so that was fun
Have you chosen any talents? First layer of talents increases your to hit, making killing him a lot easier. I also reduced his AC in future version to speed up that fight.

I like the premise and the overall look, the existence of skill trees is also a good omen. But the public version is anything but an enticing demo and I gave up partway through.

Right off the bat, you can hardlock yourself in the very first scene if you do Exit Room -> Change Outfit. The Exit button does not pop up again. The unintuitive placement of said button is another topic, by the way.
The game has big issues with pacing. There's way too much idle and not particularly clever chatter about nothing in particular that's just boring to read through. The pirates section is completely on rails and composed almost entirely of "a wild pirate appears", over and over. There are some spell skillchecks, but these are basically the matter of picking the one that says it's the easiest. There's no choice to be made anywhere.
The combat is dreadful from a mechanics standpoint. Once again, there's only one way to play - summon a critter, resummon it once it's dead. If it's still live and kicking, cast yellow spell. Over and over again. If the argument is that this is only so early on when you don't have any perks unlocked, then that part should be done with quickly, not stretched into a dozen battles. The dice rolling animation is neat, I agree, but it stops feeling neat after the fifth time you've seen it. Waiting for the thing to finally settle is just pointless downtime that will eventually add up to literal hours in what would be a full playthrough. I found myself alt-tabbing for enemy turns. This is not something you want the player to do in a game. I appreciate you putting an option to speed up the rolls, but - a.) it's still way too slow; b.) it apparently randomly toggles itself off sometimes when a fight starts. And why on earth do I have to click "roll damage pls" on a hit? It's not like I have to make a call there, this should be automatic.
In the end, I gave up before completing the ship part. I ended up clicking too fast past dialogue and accidentally picked a hard skillcheck instead of the easy one (the bit where you free the pink girl). No matter. A few fights ensued, I'm back at the same skillcheck. Except the one I had picked is marked as failed and greyed out, and the other... is orange, but marked as failed too. And unclickable. Which means I'm hardlocked out of continuing. Once more. Since I couldn't bring myself to reload and watch all the dice roll around all over again, I gave up.

I don't mean to shit on your project since a lot about it looks fine, actual effort went into it and I assume it opens up nicely past the intro section, but all the issues above had unfortunately made me bounce right off. Fingers crossed you address them.

The game ended before it started. I couldn't leave the room because the exit button disappears if you press it before getting dressed. And to get dressed, it turns out you need to go to the menu and choose the right clothes there! But a hint about this appears only after pressing the exit button! Great game! Deleted it.

Wow, the thread for this game is way behind. This is the last public release from nearly 3 months ago. The Itch page looks abandoned, the current version on patreon is at 0.22.

There's also a completed prequel to this game that never got posted here.

Edit: The prequel was hiding. Here's the first game: Acension I: Rags to Riches

Anyone else getting stuck after saving the pink haired girl from the pirates?
After defeating the real first mate and the other two pirates, I get looped back around to entering the cabin to save the pink haired girl again..

I have been enjoying the game so far but can't get progress any further now.

Same thing happened to me, fixed it by loading a save i had made after saving her, failed a check but it progressed from there.

Odd, I thought I had fixed this. Which version were you playing?

Lots of good points. I have adjusted the speed of the rolls in later version, but definitely some things still need to be worked on to keep it interesting at low levels.
