Unfortunately, yeah, that's why on this version. We'll see if it can be anchored so that the buttons fit in the screen in the next versions.
UI is still going to eat most of your screen, as I don't think I'll be able to scale that down in an efficient manner. Sorry T_T
Last time I played was around May of 2023. I remembered having a good time and forgot about this game for a bit while I waited for updates.
I picked up ver 1.24 and only got around to playing it in the last few days and just finished it up now. Was legitimately upset when I reached the end because of how much I was enjoying it. Coming back to the thread made that worse with the realization that I missed multiple updates and the kickstarter in the time it took me to get around to giving it another go. Especially since those updates have Eva and Xi content who are my absolute favorites so far. As well as missing out the battle content being put back in. Not a horrible excuse to speed through it again to try out the combat systems and see the new scenes but still.
Going to be actively following for sure from now on and throwing in a late pledge on the kickstarter. I'm hooked and sad I was a late to the party. Can't wait for more.

It seems like Camilla was re-written to be a bit nicer when you turn her down. I remember she used to mock you for being a coward originally. Now she's more understanding of the MC's position but still encourages him to loosen up a bit.
The most frustrating aspect of this game is that, for whatever reason, hitting the spacebar doesn't allow you to progress the dialogue. Like every other game allows.
Maybe the developer is left handed and can click the mouse while jacking off? Or he's a sadist lol

I wonder if there's a mechanics reason for that with the combat, or if there will be a controls key binding option to do that down the road.

Unfortunately, you're quite right.
But the good thing is that I removed most of them, and added new ones, so I have the old ones animated that are planned to come back... Soonish.... I promise I have a lot in my files, it's just that I don't have a good place narratively to put them just yet.
Also had a period in mid 2024 where I didn't work on the game, so there's half a year that went without adding much, if
anything.
I'm ramping up production now that I have the skeleton of everything and a lot of Art backlog, so... Goal is to finish the thing in +- 3 months with a full focus on writing.
You're not the first people that ask for that. It's not for any specific reason, but I do use the mouse generally lol. I've changed the bindings in the Editor, so next update should have space as a continue rather than hiding the UI. (which is now on H)
None will have anything, because the gallery is a lie, and there's just the outdated first-ish version of it in it.Anyone got a full Gallery save

Opinion based on 1.27, fresh save
- It's easy to misclick the "skip battle" button and waste progress. A confirmation popup would be appreciated.
- The Destroyer feels underwhelming compared to the rest of the Union ship roster:
- The Corvette's PD alone can one-round a fighter squadron from full shields. In comparison, the Destroyer's laser deals so little damage that it can only kill damaged foes. As no other Union weapon ignore shields, any damaged targets would have breached shields already, rendering the laser's shield-bypassing quirk unique but pointless.
- The Cruiser is significantly faster, tougher, has a near-identical railgun, and can replenish shields for any fleet member. In comparison, the Destroyer's target lock only benefits the Bomber's RNG torpedoes.
- In all battles the Destroyer participated, I find myself wanting to replace it with anything else, especially with either a Corvette or one of those pirate support ships. It needs a stronger niche. Long-range gun platform, fighter/bomber support capacity, actual anti-capital firepower. Anything that makes it stand out more.
- Hostile ship roster feels too similar to one another. The 400 HP pirate corvette feels identical to its 600 HP cousin, for example. Letting us see their weapon loadouts during battle (and/or unlocking glossary entries as the story progresses) would go a long way toward distinguishing individual enemy units.

remove the battle game extender and just focus on girls and story and makes sure the girls get fucked in the ass at some part in the story.

We could also let the game developer make a game with gameplay. We've got about a million visual novels already and purely "event-based" RPGM games.
I've been holding off this game for a while, and finally decided to play it. Hands down i gotta say the quality is PEAAAAAAAK (especially the jungles on the FMC), props to the dev.
Question tho, during the first H-Scene with Nora (?) there's no SFX and even music, just dead silence. I pushed on until the 2nd H-Scene, was it Camilla (?) and another dead silence. Honestly this felt bizarre for a game at this quality.
Is this on purpose?
If it is, is there any plans in the future to implement a SFX or even music during H-Scene?

There's a Skip Combat button, and it's always on. So if you want to remove it for your playthrough, you can
final story Xi is nice and we get to see a new girl(Yippe)PMC/TOHE association. Captain definitely going to Rizz her in the future lol
I wonder what the PMC/TOHE ship deal tho,they are weak against military vessels but mass produce and can in the future, we make our own ship/have more ships (destroyer kinda weak lol).

Unable to save, whenever I try to overwrite a save. The application crashes.

I haven't added SFXs, but you should have music though. Strange?
The music triggers are somewhat capricious if you skip, but even clicking fast should still trigger them in all cases.
Is this with the new version? Can you save elsewhere?
If you have the new version, loaded a save near the Xi scene. and tried to save, then the crash is """normal""" (sorry T_T).
If it's on one single version however, that's not suppose to happen, and I need more information. Though it's probably linked to the game checking the existence of variables that aren't there.
Mostly interested in if the save pb is all over the game or not.

it is the save where its near XI after you talk with the corporate big breasted woman. So if I try to save after eva and nora settled differences on slot 8. The game crashes and will stop responding.
