personally I'm hoping someone writes out a walkthrough for this remaster so we can work towards a specific ending. I like the harem ending but sometimes I just want an ending where MC ends up with 1 girl only

The solidus was something like 4 grams of gold for most of its existence so at current gold value 10^6 Solidi are over 400 million in gold alone, not to mention worth more than the gold in it as an artifact, though not for all of them. That would glut the market, but some as collectors items and turning the rest into bars, that's the way to maximize.

I just finished Act 1, but when I tried to start Act 2, I couldn't.

need to play ac1 to end where sloth asks you to make save and get kicked to main menu and then in act2 click start and select that save and play.
you need to reach the point where Sloth tells you to name your save to import to act 2
