no act 3. only 1 devil on loose and hjard doesn't know how to catch him and rest threats have been dealt.

i guess you are on freeroam part, if you have talked to every1 everywhere (even courtyard) then you can advance on story

V 0.9.9 ActII. I play on Win11, which has problems with rendering - force gl2 makes it almost unplayable. After I switched to angle2 it was good again, but that's when the bug occurs (It doesn't with force gl2). When in battle mode, it happens after I choose a school of magic and hover over the list of available spells.

Yes, very early on, if I climb the snowy mountain, the game will progress, but I have a quest from the lumberjack in the village, but they won't let me into the main town .

The lumberjack quest will only progress after getting into the city. No need to worry about that. And You'll only gain access to the city after progressing the story, so go ahead. Just make sure You visited everyone before going to the mountain.

About the endings, I agree that some endings are bigger/more complex than others and there's a plan for that.
About versions, yes. Any number (Or letter) is available even beyond 1.0, but 1.0 will be indeed "The final" update, but not "The Last", what I mean is that it will be the update that closes the game story or the game progression.

After that I'll be focused on modernizing it a bit (Since I started it 6 years ago, with little to no experience in any of this).
That modernizing includes, better images, animations, a gallery, extended quests/endings/details, sounds, and probably some more stuff that will come up along the way. And since Steam is a possibility some "Achievements" stuff too.

That's it, I hope this answers not just you, but all those who questioned about it.

tried updating graphic drivers? if you have any log/error-files thern attach those on your next post.

does your comp has integrated graphics or actual graphic card as main graphic adapter? if latter try to disable 1st and try again.
