It felt like we had a lot of that in that time period. Games got off to an awesome start in 2019 or 2020, got a lot of good updates, moving along and then....either just crickets, or the dev would seem to give them a really abrupt and rushed end that didn't feel like it fit with the rest of the game.

I must say I was more a fan of the first version (even with its broken English and its very sloooooooooow burn) than the reboot.
But Free Pass was one of the first AVN I have ever played, and I'll always remember the beautiful Yoon.

Yeah I'm fine with the slow pace given I'm a big fan of slow burn VNs, but yeah the script is very ESL. I really wish some of these devs would just get some fans to help localize their games properly. I'm positive most would even do it for free.

Yeah I did see that, super sad. We were finally getting somewhere in the story too. I believe it was primarily driven by the dev not liking how outdated the start of the game is visually. They got overwhelmed by task of potentially remaking the whole game, and just lost interest altogether. Personally I think the game still holds up, but its undeniable that his recent renders are an incredible improvement. Hopefully he just soldiers on and actually finishes the game and can maybe redo it after everything is done. Hopefully.
I agree. Several of us told him the same thing in the thread. The original renders were certainly good. He'd just advanced so much that the new ones were among the best anyone around was making. And that's awesome! No need to redo the start, just continue with the rest and make an awesome product. His women, along with the renders, are just spectacular.

Very high end renders. But it seems to have been mostly paused in development for years now.

Yeah they've been quiet for nearly half a year now...but hopefully they come back and finish it up given how good the game is. The only real criticisms I have are some plot elements are a bit silly. Still, I think its well worth playing.
The game has been in development since at least 2018, and we only really have a handful of scenes. It was highly impressive when it was new, but progress has been glacial.

Yeah, but they made it almost entirely the same. Always weird when that happens. I've followed a few devs who clearly learned a ton along the way, and restarted so that they could truly improve the product, and it was great. But some other ones who start and stop and start again and it all looks the same.....makes you wonder what's going on. Especially when the "new" version takes a lot longer than the first one.
