He has gotten really, really good with his character models/creations. Absolutely among the very best. Fingers crossed that the game continues and we get more content.
I agree he just keeps getting better and better over time. Here is something he made just a few months ago, and its absolutely mindblowing:

If we start getting this level of polish for the game across the board it would be absolutely legendary.

You know what I've realized can help make a woman look 'natural' (or 'real')?
EYEBROWS.
Rendered so you can see they're indeed made of individual hairs, and thick in terms of... like, vertical height (not just a thin line).

Look at those things. <3

something I've noticed with most models is the women are always bigger than the men??
Its too Hollywood for me, I realize that like actors coders likely don't often fit in the 6 foot plus crowd but good grief it looks ridiculous to see the women taller and heavier than the men.
It drives me nuts. I'm not against tall women, but in what part of the world are the majority of the women taller and larger than most of the men? I think nowhere. If the men are short and slender, then usually the women are even smaller.

Games that feature a male lead who looks like a child compared to the women are just creepy. And it frankly shocked me when I found out how common they are around here. The guy doesn't need to look like a superhero, and sure some of the women can be taller than he is, but he should be bigger than about 80% of them.

If you want a midget MC it's fine, but at least when other men are concerned put them at proper heights too. That would make the MC the smallest character. Could be interesting if it doesn't give the impression of playing a prepubescent boy. I know a short dude, but nobody would mistake him for a kid or girl. the guy is bearded and quite fit with a little belly, but short.

Also noticed that. It makes me think one of the two things:
  • Either (1) the idea of scaling character figures (to make females generally less tall than males, as it is irl, or just to make characters mode diverse in height and athleticism) simply does not cross the minds of most creators
  • Or (2) for some reasons it just does not work that simple with DAZ characters or in general with human 3D characters. Meaning, for example, if you just scale a model as a whole - you get weirder body proportions, and to properly depict a human of a height lesser/bigger than average one might need to scale different body parts disproportionately, which can be tricky.
