Yeah, but they made it almost entirely the same. Always weird when that happens. I've followed a few devs who clearly learned a ton along the way, and restarted so that they could truly improve the product, and it was great. But some other ones who start and stop and start again and it all looks the same.....makes you wonder what's going on. Especially when the "new" version takes a lot longer than the first one.
I briefly played the original and I definitely saw an improvement albeit small details. I don't think it was a monumental improvement like Away From Home but it was still noticible from some of the skin detail, some model improvements and some added UI/VFX flair to add to the appeal. Whether it was worth is hard to say, especially since remaking has a tendency of burning out the artists (Juno's Task comes to mind).

imo its better to stick with something imperfect but actually finishing it rather than reaching the coveted "perfect masterpiece" that remains unfinished. I don't know why so many of my favorites are cursed to be unfinished like this. It also makes me super conflicted on deciding what I should do in terms of donations. I tend to send over a patreon sub as thanks for the really top tier stuff (or really indie stuff) as my thanks, but its really hard to justify that when the artist is MIA or is taking forever. But on the otherhand sometimes monetary insentives are enough to get them back to developing the game so...

Juno hit hard, because the game was already going along great, and then the dev figured out how to become one of the very best, and posted renders that were hotter than almost anything I've ever seen, with the promise of a story that was even better than before.....then he burnt out and walked away. Fingers crossed he comes back. That one absolutely is an all-star selection for this thread.

I agree, he's basically the Leonardo Divinci of this niche. And the fact he just left never to be seen again just hurts the soul. Narrative was getting good in the story too. Oh well. Hopefully he comes back randomly years later like the Gates Motel dev.

It does feel like the individual devs who are the best of the best at making the exact thing this thread is designed to showcase tend to be the ones who get burnt out and walk away. I imagine that there's an element to it involving the artistry and how much care needs to go into hand crafting every still that we see, and also the fact that when someone is that good of an artist, the coding side often isn't something that they enjoy as much.

For sure. It seems like every game you find with this style women gets abandoned.
I didn't see Duality mentioned, but that one that I would also love to see picked back up.

The renders were solid, but it was a very odd game without any real direction.

I love this game, it is without a doubt one of the best incest game here on the site.
And if that weren't enough, it has the most perfect MILF.
Another thing I want to add is that the dev pays incredible attention to detail in the renders. one example is these beautiful veiny breasts, they are delightful, I would venture to say that I haven't seen this kind of detail in any other game.
If anyone here, appreciates tags with incest/MILF and a well-written story with progression, I highly recommend it.

I like the original more mainly because the remake has AI in it.
Yeah I feel you on that. Some of the ai generated video feels very uncanny. I do think the images are a lot clearer in the remake though. For some reason the original had this strange blurring effect on the models used.
