I have not played the previous versions, but I have found this current one to be incredibly broken.

Things like talking to the shop woman for the first time and their dialog being from much later in the game and just skipping the earlier bits and adding scenes I have not seen naturally to the gallery or when I start the minotaur mini game it goes straight to the game over / results screen.

I honestly don't know if I can even finish this game like this, but I can't be bothered to start all over again.

exactly what i am getting. If i remember correctly, an older version which is pretty similar to this one, was far less broken and very completable. Current version is broken, buggy and missing old content that was present from older versions. Current reviews are...good, but i haven't seen anyone mention these bugs and broken features yet.

Kinda disappointed with the latest release, i love the older progression type where all the girls can be unlocked without min maxing other route, it gave more freedom and less linear, now its just feels so linear and rushed, plus the cuted content that really build up the story makes the characters progression feels jumpy, like youre reading a comic that lost a couple of pages inbetween

And the bug... oh god, played the demo and got bugfree, paid the full release and get to wait some more months just to play a bug-vest

Now it makes me wondering, does the delay are there to cut some content so that the patron get their cookies ( i mean like, normal release get only the normal story, and patron get all the bonus cg that had been cut out for these exact reason), coz i saw a lot of them needed entitlement from the dev, and tbf cutting a content for other releases other than the og patron one is a pretty slick move and a savage one (of course its just my asumption, take it with a grain of salt)

this has been a long time coming but it feels like it wasn't actually finished. like they just threw an ending to it. but still at least they "finished" grats to the dev teqm. I hope they still do some bugfixes

Isn't that like a mini-game, you only pull the dagger upwards and you can only do it if you have enough health or mana or whatever?

Coul you tell me what was cut, exactly? Even if it's only a few examples? I was waiting for the game to release before jumping in, but the fact that some story content seems to have been cut has me worried.

This is one of the few games that have struck a chord within me, at least enough to comment.

This game seemed like a bright gem just stuck in time forever, incomplete but of the utmost quality nevertheless.

And now the game is oficially released and I´ve experienced 1.00...

And holy molly.

I´ve experienced more bugs in this sole version than all others I´ve played combined, and it´s supposed to be the most polished one.

I´ve been drinking buddies with Orson since I remember, seen Scarlet teleport and sleep in two places at once in a non-existant bed... those are the bugs.

But the progression is all kinds of butchered, plenty of adecuate things have been removed to cut back on "padding" while adding actual padding like the littoral cave and the haunted house, which is not bad content in itself but it is extremely limited interaction wise... I mean four dialogs with a sea creature, a pair of glasses and breaking something with a shovel and that´s it for the cave? a whole location??

The whole demon debacle that was added as the ending feels like such a cop-out after what came just before.

A Flaming sword of legend, a Necromancy ring of incredible corruptive power and countless other artifacts of power the Duchess has hoarded in preparation, completely set aside because it was just a fetch list for the player to advance the plot and nothing more.

If the final fight was instead the player using all of these powerful artifacts to vanquish the demon once and for all, then I´d find the end more appealing. But we got Elizabeth and Ivy holding hands for the win, with the power of friendship doing the rest.

Hell if you can also add Ezra and Ginny in that final fight, or even use Melkor´s dagger for the killing blow... some aerial support by a very specific dragon pair... There´s just so many ways to tie in the rest of the game in a way that feels fullfillying.

I do not have the right to be salty, this is still well beyond average as a game and I haven´t paid a cent for it either. The only true investment I´ve put in it, is emotional.


But man it still hurts inside somewhat.

Lmao I just finished the game yesterday and was waiting for Ezra to show up in that final fight since it's demon related and all... the final was definitely rushed out there's no doubt

I'm facing the stupidest issue and I don't think I found any answer on the internet. I've used the revitalizers in the dungeon and now I'm all out of them with no way to buy or craft them. What do?

Edit: Turns out it was a stupid problem and the stupid was me. I could've BOUGHT the potions all along, I didn't need to give her the mana nectars like everyone on the internet was saying, because I already gave it.

You need to do it again when you get the bed quest. Had the same issue. Reaching wave 20 should be enough iirc

One decision I never understood is why they drew Crystal with her tongue touching the roof of her mouth like Smartschoolboy9 for the entirety of her blackjack minigame. I find that part downright revolting to play

It's just an open-mouth smile - her teeth at the top, and the inside of her mouth (or tongue at the base of her mouth) at the bottom.

tbh it still doesn't look as good as before...everything is nice except the mouth part which can be a bit confusing since there is a lack of colours (which isn't bad). But my brain can't process where the tongue or any of that is, i just see an open mouth

The inside of the mouth cannot get this much light. If it is this bright, it means there is something covering the mouth cavity that is reflecting light, the tongue. It's pixel art, difference of a few pixels changes things a lot. The artist is too good everywhere else to do this by mistake. The bright pixel below the upper lip definitely isn't a single tooth either, it's the highlight of the rounded tongue.
