I would normally support this, with shit like ppl saying dark souls needing an easy mode or something.
But the thing is this is a porn game. The end goal is to fap. There is really no point to the distracting minigames being challenging at all, not that they are challenging.

The same argument could be perfectly made for SFW games and DS specifically "The end goal is to enjoy them. There's is really no point to the frustrating difficulty."
The reality is that everyone seeks different experiences, this applies to both SFW and NSFW games.
So while you might personally find minigames distracting, some others find them a welcome addition, as indicated by people asking me to add more minigames more often than people telling me to remove them.
The same can be said for DS, it's not for everyone, nor it should be.
It offers a specific game for a specific crowd, and so do I.
No the same really can't be said for DS at all as the gameplay is the end-all-be-all for that game. The difficulty actually adds something to it. I've never played a porn game in which a minigame was so good that I thought "wow I'm glad that was in this game. Sure did add a lot to the sexiness."
Whatever I guess, I don't really care what you do with it.

For one, Gameplay =/= Challenge, which is what was being discussed here.
Secondly, to claim that difficulty or even "gameplay" is the "end-all-be-all" for DS is throwing into the trash the lore, story, setting, exploration, character building, multiplayer, etc... of that game.
Which is just ridiculous, those things clearly have value for a section of the player base.
So my point still stands, you might not like an aspect of a NSFW game and that's perfectly fine.
But to say it hurts the game overall because it doesn't fit your very narrow and subjective definition of "what is a good NSFW game"?
It's just the same as critiquing DS for its difficulty, you like it or not.

I Completed the game and can say I'm satisfied with what it gave me. It gives about 12 hours of fun. Some fetishes like shortstacks and thigh sex is really up my ally and not very often is it used. I liiked the artstyle as it was still nice but allowed for more dynamic scenes with less effort while maintaining quality. I played it all day today with breaks and it was a good day. Ive done everything possible. I'm assuming i have either failed to trigger the ending or it has none at the moment?

I maintain my stance that, while I hate minigames and grinding in almost all other H-games, they really work for Aurelia. The art is gorgeous and some scenes like
are some of the best I've ever seen, but that's largely because I've grown attracted to the characters over the hours of gameplay before that. Aurelia has some genuinely quite fun minigames that are well integrated into the game in design and function, and interwoven satisfyingly with character and relationship progression. I would not be interested in just a CG or animation by itself, that's not what games are for. I hope Mirthal sticks with his guns, and won't ever come down with hentai protagonist sickness, if you know what I mean.

Hey is there an estimate when the next version is out? on Patreon it says, as of 3 days ago, that it's 99% done, so it should be any day now, right? I'm really looking forward to playing it, the artstyle looks great!

Been a while. just wanted to pop back in and see what's up. Destroyerofassholes (Pfft), "just an internet comment" goes both ways, if you're going to continue to argue your point without actually being open-minded to what the other party (literal creator of the game) says, you're simply being annoying for no reason. Go do it somewhere else. Also, it's just common sense that everyone has different preferences, the world does not revolve around you or conform to your preferences. I personally enjoyed the minigames, and from the feedback it is obvious others have as well.
You're free to dislike the aspect, and if that singular aspect ruins the game for you, well, that's fine too. That means the game isn't for you, not that it's a "shit game." If you didn't mean to be insulting, take this opportunity to be open minded and respond without insulting something/someone.
