The heck? I haven't played 1.00 yeat so please enlighten me is this because you're comparing image to animation or something? Or why else would the dev downgrade graphics like that?

I am comparing image to animation. This scene was redone and it's animated now. However the image you see on the 0.31 wasn't exactly a still one. There was some progression and her facial was changing during it.
But what's left of it is just a small preview in the Journal in 1.00.

Are there more different images?

Not sure if any other scene was redone this way. There are reports in this thead that some of the previous scenes aren't in this version.

Now this is my assumption, maybe they wanted to keep a similar level of quality between images? I believe it would be jarring to see the first image (0.31 one) and then the next image you see is at the quality of the 1.0 one. Perphas it was done to keep the same level of quality all around (even if its downgraded?)

That's probably the reasoning behind it. But the current difference in quality between newer scenes and older ones is not something hidden.
Still kinda sad it's butchered and not utilized somehow as a bonus ingame content. The artworks like this was the reason for me to follow this project.

I'm doing the church girl quest that need a slime ball but the slime girl didn't appeared for me yet what do i do? i already waited days for her to steal my crops (the plants are there) but nothing happened

Once you progress far enough with Ivy/Scarlet, you should at some point get an event while checking on your garden. If you've been neglecting it, you won't see her.
