They don't have to give you anything. They could choose to reward contributors with artwork, in-game credits, the ability to vote in polls, whatever they want. It doesn't have to be early access. It doesn't have to be anything. You aren't buying anything, you are saying that you like the content, recognize the artist is creating that content for free, and choose to donate so that they can continue to create free content.

We are supporters, not customers.

I should add that if you didn't like the update, you are free to complain. It is a human right to say when you don't like something. However, you don't get to use your donator status to do so.

If you read my original post, I didn't attempt to leverage "donator" status as cause for outrage. I said I was dissapointed by the amount of content in the latest update. Anything past that is you seething that I expressed a negative opinion. I like angry furs work and the game, I was simply hoping for more.

Think of it this way what would the creator prefer if
A the supporters give feedback if they were unhappy about something and give them a chance to fix/talk out the issue, or
B don't like it leave, even if all it would take is to talk it out.

I'm not saying destructive criticism is ok but if you take out all criticism you also remove constructive criticism. Some times it's not even either of those but just a small vent that if left alone will be just that a small vent. If you take away A all that's left is B and if said complaint is a popular one the devs supporters will dwindle without the dev even knowing why because the supporter's can't complain about it. While all opinions may be important to the deves deserve and need to know what the opinion of the supporters are as that is where there support comes from.

I will note, we do read through the thread here, and we take critique and opinions to heart as best as possible and try to make improvements where we can, within reason of course.

My critique: Game is perfect. Keep it going exactly the same direction it has been. Maybe just post more news/progress reports so things don't get all scary and quiet. Also sorry for derailing the thread with my rants about the nature of artists and subscription services. I don't think I'm wrong, but this is the wrong place for it. My B.

We of course put more stock into the words and opinions shared from those that are active supporters of the game especially on the Discord server. As those are more clearly the target audience. But threads like these are also viewed and scrutinized to try and gauge the general populace/possible future supporters. So if there's some heavy opinions shared here we like to take it to heart and see if there are places where it would make sense to improve upon to alleviate those concerns.

So I suppose..

Of course in the case of amount of content in updates, that's a tricky one to make improvements on, considering the vast majority of work falls upon a single individual with a busy life around them. But we always discuss things and assist where we can to support them.

For me this game has the potential to be one of the best adult straight furry visual novels (or as a furry game in general), keep it damn up, probably one of the fews projects I'd be sad knowing it'd die.
