No one pays for updates. You appreciate what the creator is doing and you subscribe to support them. It's like tipping a street musician. The music is free, but you can support them if you want to. You don't complain they don't play your favorite song, or don't show up every day, no matter how big you tip them.
Well, first off i did not complain, i am not a supporter of his so i cant with good faith say anything bad about his schedule, if anything i can only praise him for pumping out updates at all since i myself dont know how to code, write a story or let alone even draw.
I 100% agree with what you said, how i see it, if people support creators they should treat their money like they are throwing it into fire, the person can simply run away with the money if they wish at any given moment so i agree that people do not really "pay for updates", however, i can completely understand if someone is who pays to "support" the developer is angry after months of not getting an update.
btw, i know that supporting creators is more of an investment then burning money but im just saying that thats how people imo should think of how that money was spent so they dont get disappointed if something bad happens (sort of like going to a casino or investing in stocks).
