I'm in a similar situation, except I used the max money save as I fucked up my original save. Beat the game but only at 2 fame rank and seemingly have no way to unlock the spa and movie theater, can't progress anymore side missions. The guy above says to pump out vids, but they don't appear to increase the fame rank so guess it's just fucked now.
Hmm I see. But the fame meter doesn't really go up I don't think? Like it should say +a certain number below it, but it doesn't. I may be cooked. I've been passively playing it for another 20-30 in-game days and no luck. I'm very close tho to fame 5. So I'm confused.

most likely a bug and nothing to do with the amount of clips, i had this happen like 3-4 times randomly, the game autosaves after u save a finished movie, so you can just restart the game and nothing is lost...
i had this happen with just 3 moives finished and a total of 20 clips recorded as well as when i had like 10 unfinished ones and like 100 clips... seems to happen at random, at least i didnt notice any pattern at the time

jokes on you, just halfway through the game i had like 5gb worth of clips and movies, cleaned folder and arrived at 7gb upon finishing, just the record folder...
and i literally just shot every scene with every position for just 20-25 seconds... so yeah
so kinda insane u can later make movies with like 20+ clips with a total length of like 7 minutes
i mean sure for compilations later a good thing but now that i think about it...
when u amke videos it shows a size like xxx/2000mb now that i think about it, was that actual real size and not just an ingame number?
my apologies, i aint trollin. My horny net can only use pixeldrain, other links would take around 8 hours to download oof.

Well, supposedly you can now delete older clips in-game... But seems like new version still not uploaded on DL Site. I wanna delete all my crappy cam clips lol

yeah same... foudn outmyself about the folders and eletes clips without knowing it it would end up making the game infinite load when trying to sell the vids... lost like 5 unsold videos early... used CE for basically unlimited energy then
but would like to play it legit now that minigames are nerfed then and being able to delete clips ingame because... often i accidently recorded 1 second less than needed for badges (because clips shorter than 20 secondsare basically useless) and some stuff was just made to make a quick movie to sell
just wish there was some sort of new game+ mode so you can essentially restarr the game with maybe more items unlocked or something...
also waiting for that update but i would need a hero there then~

Really? How's the tl on the Steam release of Seed of the Dead? I don't recall the tl on the dlsite being that bad for SoD lol

I only played Sweet Home (2nd game in the series) in English, not the original. The TL seemed professional, if I recall correctly. To be fair, the publisher often plays a role in the TL, so different publisher could mean different TL quality. If they're spending months to re-release this game on Steam, seems like there's a good chance they'll use a different translation. The version on DLsite right now has TLs in many different languages; that's usually a giveaway that it's an MTL.

Yeah as an addendum, the game does actually save the recordings, you should always recycle old works every few weeks.
I think both are definitely edited MTLs, but there are also typos here and there, SoD was a lot more polished obviously, but at the same time it isn't something that bothers the game too much, I can understand some japanese so I see discrepancies here and there.
