Have a weird question, so there's 2 versions, the 1.101 version in the main links, and also the 1.200 version linked earlier in the thread, which has 2 extra cgs. There's also an issue with the game where it constantly brings up an error when trying to play sound effects and you have to constantly press retry every second to get through it, this error was fixed in the 1.101 version but not in the 1.200 version, so do people know what files you could copy over to fix it for 1.200? I'm not the most tech savvy but I imagine it isn't as simple as replacing the se file, so if anyone who's messed with it more knows I would appreciate it.
Just tried it at your suggestion, since I assumed that one and the one from RyanGosling would be the same, and it still has the same issue of constantly displaying the same error.
Just use the newest version and do this:
I have a quick little solution for the annoying error message “Failed to load audio”.
In the file rpg_core.js line 9296 and 9297 insert 2 “//” at the beginning.
This means that no more error messages are displayed and the game simply continues to run.
Have fun playing the game :)

There is now some weird lag when loading anything, but it was as easy as copying the se from www/audio from vers 1.100.
Also, what CGs have been added? I google translated the change notes but cant really figure it which characters it is. And also if i can see the CG in the library instead of through a run, too lazy to play the game.

Did a short test and it seems to work fine! Really wish I just tried it since that was my first thought instead of asking first, but oh well, now to hope nothing else happens.

And for the cgs, I'm just going by what was said earlier in the thread here. I'm sure one of the completed save files in the thread will have it.
From dlsite:
ver1.200
CG and defeat animation added to the two characters (Lily, Lil & Puru) who won first place in the popularity poll held at ci-en, etc.

Using a mage build in the normal endless does feel like a cheat. After 2 floors you basically 1 turn the enemies, even on hard mode. Thankfully Avarice endless fixes that.

I'll keep going a few more floors but might go for an avarice run. :D

Yeah the ATK value fluctuates a lot but that's the fun part. Sometimes you do 20k damage with a strafing card, sometimes you wonder how it only did 4k!

Edit: I just hit a 190000 hit on the merchant, game crashed right after. The save is after killing her so that's nice.

btw, because of endless avarice, the drain merchant is no longer an empty spot since you can cure the drain after the next boss

The magic swords became just as ridiculous in endless. You can very quickly set up an endless turn 1 chain and after a few floors even your weakest attacks one shot.

Huh that's interesting, I haven't tried that build yet but I probably should to check it out!

I don't see much potential with the dagger build apart from constant critting adding hidden blade maybe.

Is there any way to fix the sound? I liked Yil's fight sfx so much... Also - in compressed version the black box behind the text does not appear. Sometimes it's harder to read. But it works faster nevertheless, and has no problem with CTRL'ing with MTool, thanks!

Hey! Actually a quick question, I've been trying to figure out the magic sword build out but I seem to be failing a lot. Any suggestions?

I haven't gotten around to checking if the gameplay changed in v1.2, so I'll answer based on my experience with v1.101.

The key to making a strong magic sword deck is to avoid useless cards. When you have the rainbow enchant buff, it will refund most if not all the cost you spend on attacks and give you new cards if you're low. You mainly want cards that get their cost refunded, can be upgraded to 0 cost or give you more cost to spend. You deck size doesn't matter; whether it's small or large, as long as you can cycle through it you will quickly draw the rainbow enchant card and then your turn will never end.

In particular, make sure you get rid of the normal enchant once you get one or two copies of the rainbow enchant. You lose the rainbow enchant if you play the normal enchant, so they just use up space in your hand. It's much easier to just keep playing the rainbow enchant card and stacking its buff duration.

I'm playing on .101 anyway so it doesn't matter. V1.2 is nothing new I think.


That aside, thank you for the info! I really appreciate it, cause I was trying to play it like a wand build which it really isn't. I'll try it out later and see how it goes :D.
