Shit they might toss the drive away altogether.Rename it "Fallout 76" and it will never be touched. I think even normies know to stay away from Fallout 76

You guys should be careful. Folks may show up at your doors to lock you up if you continue... Just a word to the wise...Shit they might toss the drive away altogether.
That's the one. I'm still chugin' antibiotics down my CDrom because of her. Bitch."Internet Explorer," I remember her. Wasn't she a dirty, crack whore who spread STDs to everyone in the late 90's/early 00's?
dev said sometime between 12th and 16th of this monthLove this game! Any idea when an update will come? It's been several months, so I hope soon.
The fuck, I did not know that he had a cult following. Had to take a look back at the thread.I think why people keep crying about Cody deserving better is because although they are playing the protagonist/antagonist, it is merely just role play and not like themselves. The person they identify most with us the loser that only plays video games and best hope of sexual contact is that of watching others whilst jerking in the cupboard.
The way I see Cody is simple. It's not my choices that make him like watching. It's not even something I can influence because we only have control over MC actions. Cody right from the beginning shows himself to be a bit of a loser when it comes to girls. He hears his crush getting screwed (probably not the first time) in her home and was aroused. He wanted more. Knew he couldn't get a piece of that ass himself and so instead (much like gaming in general) lives vicariously through others. So he asks to watch.
Now here's the bit that people don't understand. Just because you tell someone you don't want them to watch you. Does not mean they are not going to do it. Does not stop them from being aroused by listening to and watching people have sex. So regardless of MC choices, Cody still wants sexual gratification by watching. Shame and humiliation comes into play when it regards his own mother which plays well into his fetish of hiding in the wardrobe and jerking. He also catches you not once, but several times with his mother. If it was so disturbing to him and he couldn't handle hearing it. Perhaps after finding out the first time that MC and his mother were having sex, the next time he hears it he would have made himself scarce, would have put on headphones and played games very loudly. But instead he proceeded to listen, his mother showing more excitement only brought him back. He is turned on by his mother's moans.
It is in his base character people. Understand this.
Nope, not very bad - only hdd (with all 0.15 scenes/work on it) failure....And there was no backup filesCan someone share the last Patreon post about the bad news? I hope it's not something very bad
That must feel awful losing months of work. I hope the dev isn't too discouraged by these turn of events, and most likely he'll find a way back into the groove of things. Cody can wait until next year, he's used to waiting.Nope, not very bad - only hdd (with all 0.15 scenes/work on it) failure....And there was no backup files
Translated - the update around new year, or later if there are some halloween/christmasshitsurprises/bonus "games" planned.
Vatos has been avoiding famous deadly virus targeting porn-games devs faaar too long, yet no man/woman/child in that business is immune to it unfortunately
As much as losing a HDD sucks... there are Data Recovery companies that can get most of the data off that drive, even if it hard crashed (head failure). I had a 2 TB server drive crash last year - cost me about $300US and 5 days to get 95% of the data back, and it was worth it. This was in the US, so mileage may vary in other places - but the data can usually be recovered. That must feel awful losing months of work. I had the on disk controller fail. Took the drive to a recovery shop. They made no promises but replaced the controller and recovered the data. I bought a new drive loaded it and all was fine. I also started paying a lot more attention to backups...As much as losing a HDD sucks... there are Data Recovery companies that can get most of the data off that drive, even if it hard crashed (head failure). Hope they get everything back on track and they get back in business - losing data and all that time sucks muchly! Wish ya luck!
Yup yup! The company that did mine got an exact replacement drive, put the platters from my drive in the new drive and copied the data off to a 3rd drive... heheI had the on disk controller fail. Correct, also would like to add since most people are unaware of the fact that even if you "clean" install Windows and wipe your drive you don't actually lose all the data. Hard drives work in layers (as they are layered magnetic films stacked on top of each other). The "old" data simply gets pushed down to a lower level so the top can be accessed by the spindle.I would first access the integrity of the hard drive, and how it got damaged in the first place. Is it due to external or internal damage, if it's physical or software related, and then go on from there.
If it's software related, like corrupted or deleted files, or something like a corrupted file system, I'd recommend data recovery software: Recuva, ddrescue for a free solution, and r-studio and GetDataBack for a more expensive and reliable option.
If it's physical, like a broken spindle, take the drive to a recovery shop, or if those aren't available, ship it to a data recovery center, and the cost will depend on how much data you've lost.
Best of luck to the dev.
