Saw this game and thought the renders looked alright. Saw how many good reviews it had and I thought I might as well give it a go. Boy how stupid I was.

Story 3/10
One of the main things a game needs is a story, y'know to follow along and get invested in. This game doesn't have one at all. Sure there's an underlying plot but the girls just come on to you like mad. You arrive at your "Landlady's" house and within like 30 renders she says "1 rule: you can't fuck me". You can't make this shit up it's a dumpster fire of a story.

This is pretty much the only redeemable factor about the game, the renders are pretty good. The tits are a bit oversized, but eh. I mean they're alright, not that much above average.

Animations 5/10
Now now now, if you've ever read one of my reviews you know that there's two things I need in a game and that's a good story and good animations, now if we have a bad story and the game makes up for it in animations then that's fair and I'd rate the game higher. The animations here are just meh, pretty bellow average. Sure I can fap to them, but they're just pretty bad to be honest.

Character Develo... You seriously thought there was character development in this game? You must be off you head lad, a statue has more character development than any character in this game, by a fucking lot.

To be honest, if you're just here to fap then this is the game for you, I won't lie, some of Brazzers' "i'm stuck stepbro" honestly have more believable stories than this I just can't enjoy it all .

In all seriousness this dev really needs to hire some writers, anyone will do, heck hire a child they'd do a better job of this and you can pay them minimum wage!

This game is just a fap material. Every female character is slutty and wants to jump on the MC's dick. We might as well just watch porn. Before you see any depth in the story and get to know the characters, I mean literally after 10 minutes of gameplay, you see someone grinding on MC's dick, blowjob by a total stranger and an offer to the MC by one of the main characters to do everything but actual sex. Another side character is married, but wants to fuck the MC'sbrains out for absolutely no reason. She doesn't know the MC, she is married, she is the MC's mom's age and the MC don't even attempt to seduce her or anything. I am not gonna lie, the models look hella hot, but why do you even need a story if you are not gonna build up some tension through time. This not realistic at all.

Truly incredible! Now this is the type of game that got me interested in F95. It's one of those games that makes my jaw drop,, and say "whoa!" The artwork is gorgeous, and the story is very entertaining. I wish there more Dev's that created games like this, I can only think of a handful. Thanks Dev

Story:

In Away From Home, you find yourself and your "not mom" moving into your "not uncle's" house, after your ex-officer dad sent you away for unknown reasons. As you live your new life, you'll find yourself surrounded by beautiful women, and entangled in your dad's investigation.
While the investigation plot is there, for the most part, it takes a backseat to the porn. This is a fairly typical story, mostly incest focused, but the writing is solid enough to keep you invested.
One thing I will point out is that the game has a heavy aspect of cucking other dudes that are nice to you, and don't really deserve it. You can avoid it, but if you're completely against the idea, this might not be a game for you.

Design:

Not much to say here, it's a choice driven VN. One thing that the game lacks is a gallery mode. IMO, every h-game should have a gallery mode, but it's even more important in games like this, where scenes are missable, and outside of a walkthrough, you wouldn't know how much you might have missed. There seems to be a gallery mod, but I'm reviewing the dev's work, and I think it should have an official feature.

Visuals:

The game really hits gold with the visuals. The game sticks to a first person view for 90% of the time. In fact, you barely see the MC's face at all. This not only conveys immersion to the game, but also gives several scenes an "intimate" feeling, which I enjoy a lot.
The character models are great in general, but specifically, the asses are some of the best in the biz. The game knows it too, constantly focusing on them for the lewds, and general sexy moments. While I'd love some love for the tits once in a while, can't blame the game for playing to it's strengths.
The animations start off really good, but towards the latest chapters, they become truly amazing, some of the best i've seen.

Conclusion:

There are a lot of games trying to be comedy, drama, and adventure soap operas out there. While this one still has a cohesive story to tell, it knows that it's primarily porn, and it's damn good at it. One of the hottest games I've ever played. Other than the lack of gallery, not much negatives to talk about, easy recommend.

Probably the best game on here for this type of content. Creator does a good job of weaving the sexy bits in with the story.

Pictures look very good, maybe a little less makeup could be better.

I like the way the game is set up. Want to see more about how the Dad is involved in the game from the story side.

Woman are very good looking except for the too much make-up part. I like their variety of ages.

This is a good porn game, different but still nice looking models, nice animations for the most part and some great dirty talk and sex scenes, especially if you are into neotori. The characters are fine, kind of one note but that doesn't detract too much. The slice of life aspect of the story adds some nice heft and meaning to the very nice sex scenes. The main story involving the ex-cop dad and the mafia is frankly kind of annoying and superfluous, perhaps things will come together a bit as the dev continues to tell the story but i feel like this game would be better served focusing on the slice of life neotori simulator aspect of the game than the tropy unsatisfying mafia storyline. Definitely worth a playthrough for some excellent h-scenes.

This game is decent and worth a play. As the episodes proceed, the animations get better, particularly in the latest two episodes, 12 and 13. The story is okay, though sometimes the reasoning or the sequence of actions is odd. Dialogue is adequate and generally free of typos. There is music during lewd scenes that adds to the experience, not great but good. No sound effects or moans in the lewd scenes.

I might have given this a 3 star rating, but the latest episodes, 12 and 13, really inspired me to believe this game is about to get much better due to better rendering, and for that promise it deserves the 4 star rating.

Bad renders, terrible writing, multiple forced scenes, choices have zero impact on the already pretty awful story. Plays exactly like something I'd expect to be made by a 17 year old with mommy issues.

The game is really great. The way the Main Character and Mother, Aunt, Cousin bond together is really great. the sex scenes are beautiful as well. the game really immerses you into the story.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Away from Home (up to episode 13) is a decent game but has its flaws. Chapters are short, with just a few decissions in each and a few scenes, which makes the story move forward quite quickly. Problem is the story itself has some problems, mostly when it wants to go into the detective side because that part makes pretty little sense. The police doesn't work that way nor would any father behave like that. And also the relationships with the girls all feel very hurried.

Art begins at a low level with some lighting problems, but as chapters go by it defenitely improves. I don't like the mostly 1st person view myself, but that is a matter of each one's personal likes.

So, all in all, Away from Home is not a waste of time and is a decent game to have fun with, but requires a strong suspension of disbelief. 6/10

Review:
I remember playing it a few years ago for the first time, I didn't really like it at the time, because I thought the graphics and renderings were kind of weird and the story hadn't shown me any interest. But I tried again in chapter 13, those graphics that I thought were kind of weird I already liked, because when you get to chapter 12 and 13 you will want that old rendering as before. But above all, the game caught my attention precisely because of its nephew and aunt content.
History:
There isn't a creative plot to give a story that makes it interesting. But who cares, as long as the game doesn't have a non sense or stupid story. But I have to confess that at certain points you will say that the story is acceptable to your taste, but after a few chapters, it ends up being a bit boring.
Gameplay:
In gameplay I thought your attitudes had some impact in the future, but not quite. An interesting feature is that each chapter is reminded which choices you made, but the downside of this is that there are few options for you to choose your path or that the paths are extremely short (accept or reject). But nothing that makes it uninteresting. However, the impact is not that great, there are characters that are already in the script, if you choose a different path, you will find that character and choose whether or not you want to see the scene.
Graphics & Sexual Content:
The graphics are good, at first it may look a little weird but it's really good. The renderings of female models are great, beautiful and hot. After chapter 11 or 12, I started noticing that the quality got worse as I prefer the quality of previous renderings and animations. Talking about the animations, they're great, I liked the quality, very horny.

Why I did gave 3 stars?
This game is really good, it has good sexual content, good scenes, good animations and has my favorite incest, nephew and aunt. But unfortunately the story is not a strong point of the game. It doesn't have a creative plot or an interesting story, for in a few moments you will say, oh my god, what a boring thing. The poorly story about the plot, the investigation, your cousin Cory that looks like a sissy, the women of the house who are tired of their husbands and the MC being the handsome guy that all the girls will fall into your lap. The chapters are short and the choices don't cause much impact.
Anyway, it's a good game, but after chapters 12, 13, it seems like the game got lost in history and it doesn't know how to develop well. I still recommend it.

this game is really good. Animation is best. Mother son incest is the best part of this game. Other girls are not as good but sexy tho, thats for sure. The writing i think is well done and i finished the game in one sitting, even tho I can barely read for more than an hour. Its a small sized game, and not very long, and interesting enough too, its worth a try. You will like it, you can bet on that.

Simply full on entertainment . I don't know about the others but I loved it.

I'm updating my review after playing up to ep 14. Here's what I liked and did not like so far.

What I liked:

-Eva, Lily and especially Nora
-hot sex scenes
-good dirty talk during sex scenes
-good graphics and animations
-MC is not a cuckold
-no sharing or whoring the girls out
-POV option during sex scenes
- pregnancy is optional

What I did not like:

-dialogues can use some proof reading
-it's your typical porn story, nothing to write home about it.
-the MC seems so cocky, sometimes an asshole, a creep, a gentleman or whatever . It's hard to establish his personality
-player does not have entire control of the MC's actions and who he will have sex with

At the end of the day, it's still a porn game so do not expect a good story on this one, However, you can expect a lot of hot sex scenes with hot women. i'd easily rate it 5 stars if only the story is better so I'll just give it 4 stars.

I really enjoyed this game. I'm very grateful that the dev took the time to invest in a mosty enjoyable game. I do like that there's a lot of different mature women to choose from. I get that some or most people aren't really into "older" women, but I appreciate it because typically, the older, mature women look and represent what we could encounter in real life.

With that said, the models aren't all "natural". It's not something that really bothers me, but it is something I think about, especially when it comes to the more intimate scenes. Regardless, I don't think new players should be discouraged. There are a lot of hot scenes. Maybe the quality of the renders/animations vary from here to there, but I wouldn't say it's a terrible experience.

There was one moment in particular that I didn't care for. I don't want to go into detail about it because it does bother me a bit, but it does happen. I didn't expect it, but I suppose credit is due to the dev for creating something immersive enough to make you think.


Anyway, I digress. This game offers multiple playthroughs. The story is alright and the models look great. (I do enjoy a nice big ass on a mature woman, so that's always a five star) I hope he continues another project and sticks with mature/milfy women.

I put my money where my mouth is and proudly support this developer, his animation is flawless, and from the very opening of this game it was sexy, it had a lot of playful flirting with all the characters, which is important because to many game developers forget there making a sex game.

Those old married ladies (mom and aunt or whoever they are) sexually harrass the poor boy, being unreasonably slutty. Eve grinds at his dick, and later he apologizes for that, and lets her boss him around? What a wimp!

They look like Spanish Armenians or something, totally not my type. Younger girls like Chloe and especially Lily are more interesting (though Chloe is a slut).

The whole story doesn't look very sensible, including that sudden task from the dad.

So the story, the characters, the models aren't top class. The game is mediocre, unless you have a kink for lewd older ladies and sluts in general, and being a female-dominated wimp.

[Ep. 1-12]

Renders - Sexy and detailed...I'm not sure what engine/program is used for these character models, but they're unlike most...in a good way...great asses all around and sexy milfs just waiting to get it

Animations - Very hot and varied...main draw of this game

Story - Pretty solid, for the most part...MC grapples with shadowy organization, adjusts to life in new surroundings...characters are solidly varied

Overall - Highly recommend for the top-notch sex scenes and build-up between the MC and the mother figure

[As of Episode 12: spoilers ahead]

A game with a lot of potential but is hindred by poor choices from the dev.

THE GOOD:

The renders and characters looks very nice, the animation is pretty smooth and it appears the dev is getting better at it as the update goes.

The NTR is optional, you can choose to either have your Cousin (Cody) peep on you while you have sex with his crush and mother or not.

The story is pretty generic but not boring, and is not stalled in each update.

The songs are not played are random and kinda fits the scenes.

THE BAD:

The majority of choices don't actually matter, most of the time, rejecting a character is useless, since they will force you into a relationship with them, for example:

- The mother (Nora): you will be given a choice not to pursue her, but somehow will still end up having sex with her in episode 12, the episode 12 update without this sex scene would have been sexless and pretty short, which is probably why the dev forced this relationship, but this problem could have been easily solved by making it a dream/hallucination for those who rejected her, but the dev chose the wacky way.

- The aunt (Eva): no matter what choices you make, you cannot reject her.

- The cousin (Lily): You are forced to either love her or pretend to love her, the second choice making the MC into a total douchebag, pretty weird since he is risking his life for his policeman father which would make you think he's a good person.

- The neighbors (Sophia + Janet + Chloe + Jasmine): The few characters you can actually reject, though you are still forced into a BJ & sex scene by Chloe.



Overall I give it a 3 stars, because the bigger problems can be fixed by tweaking choices and story.
