VN - Ren'Py - Away from Home [Ep.1-25] [vatosgames]

Originally played this game in during its earlier stage and it didn't draw me in. But I gave it another chance and I am glad I did. I had fun playing this. Everything progressed nicely in my opinion. The characters look great. And hints of future events did well to keep my interest. Best of luck to the developer(s) of this game.

I'm a history guy, not a fap guy, i mean, if the game has a good amount of sex scenes and a good history it's perfect, but i prefer much more a game with good history than a game with just meaningless sex, and this game has a great potential, but the EP's are too short, i mean, 8 ep's and just 2h30/ 3h of gameplay isn't that much, it doesn't develop much well the characters and the history, so u don't really get emphaty with them, it has sexual content in every episode, but as i just said, it's meaningless, you don't get happy like "OMG i'm finally gonna fuck her brains out" it's just like "yeah, okay" and the moanings are so damn cringe lol. So if you are looking for a quick fap with some hot girls and milfs than this game is great, but if you are just like me and like to see the relationship developing, than this game isn't really that good, i mean, i usually start supporting on patreon if i like the game, but seeing that it's has been more than 1 year when it was first released, and got just 3 hours of gameplay, it doesn't worth it.

The game is nice and is progressing in a good way since the 1st release. Renders are great but the only shortcoming is that the episodes are short. Longer episodes at this point would be appreciated since the game gets monthly updates but maybe the dev is trying his best so wont deduct a star for it.

Loved the game. Can't wait to see more of it.

I liked that there is more to the game than just sleeping around, but will reserve judgement on that as the game evolves.

The animations are great. Saw others complaining about the skin tones of the models, but I don't mind that. I think they're hot!

The writing in this game is on point. The dialog feels very natural and combined with the music, creates a very relaxing atmosphere. I've only encountered writing of this caliber in one other game, Light of My Life, with Monster Slums! at a close third to these two games. Is the lewd content in this game heavy? Yea. Do I care? No, because it's well written.

The animations are very smooth and I'd easily give the graphics and renders a 4-star minimum. This is an incest game, but the pre-incest patch roles are very well written, which is great for me since I'm not into Incest. It's very easy to lose track of time in this game, and I haven't felt the need to skip any of the dialog at all after 1 hour of play, which I think is great.

I'd highly recommend a playthrough.

I didn't know what to expect at first when I played Away From Home, the renders are somewhat different from the status quo but they grew on me and I love it now. I love how natural the women bodies look, not overly bimbo-ized like some games this is definitely a nice touch. I personally love Ava's ass, it's perfect. Something about women and tan lines or bikini lines is hot to me. The story is still developing obviously but so far so good. The sex scenes have been steamy so far it gives you the option to change views during sex, which I consider a major plus. Overall I like this game, giving it 3 stars doesn't seem legit or fair to me so... 4 stars it is. I wish the Mods or Staff or whoever changes it so half stars can be implemented because that's a big deal to me.

The renders are nice and the story is interesting in terms of the mafia and your father's involvement with them. However, the sheer amount of times this game cockblocks you prevents me from giving it a higher score. Along with a few mistranslations and grammar/spelling mistakes. Overall, the game is pretty good but could be better.

That might sound confusing. Isn't everything on this site pornography? Well, yes and no. Every game we play has pornographic imagery, but some of them do more than that; some tell a story. Which is why I say this is pornography.

This is a classic incest visual novel, complete with all the tropes. Everyone wants your MC's dick right from the start; everyone is incredibly horny, all the time; there is zero build-up or characterization. But what makes it strange is that there's also a mafia story going on at the same time. The MC's dad is an undercover cop infiltrating the mob, and the MC is roped in to investigating another mobster. So there are aspirations, here. Just not with the actual sex parts of the story.

That might sound harsh, but let me give you an example: the second the MC meets his aunt (who hasn't seen him in 12 years, when he was a child) she immediately wants to fuck him. At the first meal with her, her hand is on his leg. He gets into her hot tub and she dry humps him in front of his mother. That evening, she tells him explicitly that she wants to play with him sexually. This is day one. Day one! There is no build-up, no character building, no relationship. There is no more story there than there is in the intro to a hardcore video. It's nothing.

The relationship with the MC's mother is, if anything, worse. After nothing more than a morning wood accident, suddenly they have these emergent feelings they have to deal with. What feelings? They haven't been flirting. They barely interact at all. Completely unbelievable. The story is just going through the barest motions to justify porn.

Now, all that said, this doesn't make the game bad. Not at all. It's decent pornography. If all you care about is having a quick wank to some implied but never fleshed-out incestuous relationships with decent renders, well, this is the game for you. But if you're looking for something more, if you want something deeper than the adult game equivalent of the classic porn opener "Did someone order a pizza with sausage?" then you should probably look elsewhere.

For starters, this game is a sleeper without question. I was reluctant to play it but as time went on I enjoyed it more and more. It has an interesting storyline and the sex scenes are great and in a strange way, the plot is believable. Nothing more to be said other than, I can't wait until the next update, looking forward to it, great work Dev(s).

The story is interesting so far and it's paced great which is good.
The models seemed a bit odd at first but they're actually good (maybe the camera angle makes some scenes look odd sometimes). My only complain is Lily which seems a bit too petite.
Renders are on par with other good games.
Animations are ok and could always be improved.

I don't have any major complains, there's grammar mistakes but other than that there aren't any bugs or grindy mechanics.

It's an all-around good game which is worth checking out.

the game is pretty much a "romance a family " type of game like many others but this guy is doing it the right way, no sleep fucking, no corruption or such things like that.
The story apart from romancing the girls have something going on that can be pretty interesting.
Im glad in this last updates change so that we dont have to give up on any girl to romance the others.

Decent game but I feel it could be way better. Currently, the characters seem interesting and hot enough, and I actually like the mc quite a bit. My issue stems from forced relationships (not too big a deal) and I also feel that the days go by too quickly. Like there are barely any scenes with certain characters over 1-2 in game weeks. You barely interact with Lily, Chloe, etc. because you basically do one activity a day.

Basically I just wish there was more content in each day and this game would be 5 stars for me. Feels like the game has a lot of potential but it currently isn't utilizing time well enough.

Hopefully this changes in the future, for now I rate 3.5

For using 3D models the rendering quality ingame is pretty low, but it seems to work out for the dev and I can accept this as long as it doesn't kill immersion for me. The story goes on with no free roaming! Pace is decent if you're looking for porn. Some decisions may have impact on major segments later on. Walkthrough recommended to enjoy this game.

Away From Home, shows that we can combine Simplicity and Quality but to what extent can we put these strengths in short episodes? This is where comes a big weak point, our choices can brutally end episodes that are already very short. If there were different scenes or events, it would have been perfect, but no. I love the characters and I liked the beginning of the story, the game has very good potential but it has not evolved from the start.

That is all the good I can tell you about this 'game'. It is just a VN and that is fine though.
The characters and writing are just...well, horrendously shallow and juvenile! It is about the level of bad acting/writing in a parody porn-movie: You meet 2 new girls while having your cock out in a houses bathroom, nobody gives you shit about it and the MC never pulls up his pants and, of course, gets a BJ to boot!

It is good enough for a wank, just don't expect any depth to the story or the characters personalities. (except for Cody, but he is a creepy voyeur and the one you can cuck, so why would you care about him?)

well, it is a great game with a very decent story but what i suggest is maybe there is still need of characters improvments like the skin color are weird on some of them and some are good though. There are a lot of interactions and this is very good about this game and every interactions have few extra scenes in it and different dialogue. best of luck for the future updates dude!
