while i agree that vatos is one of the most reliable guys/devs around, the previous and this year are showing all classic signs of devs losing interest in their games.
for everyone included probably it would be for the best if he finishes this game in few more updates, thus giving a proper closure...and only after that o move to his next project, if he has it planned and/or feels saturated with this one, or to remaster/redone this one if he and his supporters are up for it.

and speaking of plot quality and similar stuff -hell, for me personally, all those arent that important, as long as our mc gets his chance to help those few more hot milf he has in the waiting line.

AND , Even if the author announced abadon tomorrow , I'll keep it on my hard drive too , because the existing content is good enough to be a classic .

There are a number of devs who are doing that for their own various reasons. Maybe he is trying to do a steam release, maybe he has found the way to make the perfect ass on his girls, who knows. But he is not the only one doing this.

There are one or two devs that I can think of who have a legitimate reason to remaster their game before completing it. Most devs remaster due to loss of interest in their games. Saying he's not the only one doing it is not a good thing.

Expected release of ep1 remaster is on the 7th but i will take it broadly and just say next week is the likely release date.

I am aware of at least 3 active(ish) devs whose games i follow/complain about (lol) that they are remaking/remaster (idk whatever they wanna call it). And tbf, in all 3 cases, there were clear quality differences after the remake.

Vatos doesn't talk much in his posts, so tbh i won't know whether he is tired of AFH or otherwise but imma give him the benefit of a doubt nevertheless. I am still looking forward to breed the entire neighborhood.

The quality jump is hardly noticeable. If you wanna see a real difference check out Where It All Begun and Shut Up And Dance. As I said before there's absolutely no reason for a remaster.

it doesnt really matter anyhow since vatos made this decision and is going through with it, nothing we can do about it.

-plot issues
-technical improvements
-adding things that were initially left out for whatever reason
probably some more but these are from the top of my head
as i said it doesnt matter anyway, its decided and no ammount of complaining on a pirate forum will change it. im sure there are better uses for your time.

I'm quite surprised by that remark tbh... it looks quite obvious to me and thats just from the backshot/buttshot... but i digress...

Also tbf, when ocean and boring mentioned they wanted to remake/remaster, they did bring it up much earlier and in more detail as compared to vatos but i do recall people being peeved as well then (more for ocean iirc but its been some time lol).

Like i said, vatos doesn't communicate as much which i understand can lead to some negative interpretations of his intentions. Nevertheless, since the remastered update is dropping next week, the best way is to let it speak for itself.

So I just started this, and playing it without the incest mode. I thought the little story of one being your maid, and the other an old family friend is good. But now I got the family friend saying she's the landlady and the MC is the tenant. WTF? So does it continue like that or maybe the remastered first episode will change that? I thought that was a waste of a good start, without it being the usual landlady thing. Should I wait for the 1st episode to come out and start again or either see landlady for the 17 chapters, or just don't bother playing.

Doubt the rework is gonna change anything about that. This is supposed to be a incest game which usually creates some silly stories if the patch isn't used. Dev's rarely put any time to make the non-incest story make sense since it's just a placeholder until the patch is applied.

I'm glad it's not working out for you, people need to stop playing incest games without the incest. That's the god-damned point of the fucking game. There are plenty of other games out there without incest that are good, it's a fantasy. If you're so perturbed about the incest so much just don't play it, less cringey than telling yourself you're NOT fucking your family members when it's obvious that you are. It's just dumb, I see it all the time and I just HAD to bitch about it because people just can't seem to accept the fact that it's a game, it's everywhere, and it makes no sense in trying to avoid something that is obviously designed to be that way.

Is the dev going back and remastering all episodes? If so then it looks like he's trying to milk as much money out of this VN as possible before he ever finishes it.
