That's interesting... it's usually the other way around, at least on lesser PCs. The video playback is entirely on the GPU, so if you're on dedicated "Fake" graphics, the onboard kind you might be out of luck. If you're on a Laptop, it could be running in low-voltage mode, your Power Adapter might be failing or not plugged in right at the boot, or other issues that cause the playback to NOT run smoothly due to this mode, I've done extensive research on it to figure it out.
For the Image Sequence ones, they will lag/not playback smoothly based on CPU instead, but that's not your issue; just thought I'd point that out for any onlookers.

Try to put the folders chache and Tl from update 25 into folder game 'cause there are many differences
Place the contents of the zipper file in the root directory and let it overwrite the files equal it worked for me. Make a backup of the files you will overwrite
