I have the same problem, but unfortunately I don't have the last files! Only the saves :xAFH v.1-25 in the images folder had almost 23,000 image files, mostly jpg.
In the new version there are about 13,000 images. There are about 500 new ones.
So if someone starts the game from the beginning,
black screen and “no picture” message will appear about 10000 times
Someone screwed up and very much so
PS: If anyone has the previous version on their hard drive, just transfer the whole “images” folder to the new version
Unnecessary files will get overwritten. The missing files will transfer.
I am reading posts all the time. Guess it would be fine to have walkthrough and able to see alternative scenes by not having to save before. But guess I only care about humiliating Cody, Oliver and so on.
Yeah, the creator is not native English probably. Even I concluded that, despite skipping most of the non-sex part of story.

The dev's gallery is disabled now, so this enables and adds a "custom" gallery, it also adds back removed scenes (ones even from the game) and adds some that are not usually in the gallery.
He is adding a per episode gallery in the future. So, if you want a gallery, the multi-mod is the only way.
Every game has the same issue when an update comes out. "hey, help! when I start my game I get this exception! I'm using .10 multi-mod on build 2.7, is that a problem??? Plez hurry with the explanation because I haven't whacked off in 25 minutes and I don't want to use the Sears catalogue again.."

Sadly, it is true. 85% of the issues with most games is people using outdated mods or they used a mod on the previous version and their save is borked.
Same with posts saying, dude update your mod now! Come on man, update your damn mod!
I just say either tab skip and play from the start or just wait for when the modder has time to update. And this modder isn't a modder really, he just took over the mod as the person disappeared so it takes him some time to update, most of the time at least a week if not more since he makes that custom gallery.
If people really, REALLY need a mod, then I suggest Universal Ren'Py Mod / URM [2.6.1] (mod any Ren'Py game yourself), it works for 95% of Ren'Py games and will never bork your saves.
There is also a gallery unlocker (if a game has a gallery) that works for probably 85% of Ren'Py games.

Damn thinking back, I miss Sears now, same with KMART and Hills along with Radio Shack.
The heyday of department stores is over sadly. It used to be you could go and find all kinds of cool stuff. Now you just order it online. We used to have a store called Woodwards and every season they would go all out on their ground floor window displays. Families used to go especially at Christmas to see the cool window displays. It was pretty much the same as the store in A Christmas Story if you have ever seen that movie. Now the area is overrun by drug addicts and the store is a condo building. The romance is gone out of pretty much everything these days.

And yes, to Christmas Story, watch it every year along with Christmas Vacation. TNT had a 24-hour marathon of Christmas Story last year even.

What are you talking about? I just finished the update and all my saves files worked just fine. You just need to copy the saves folder into the game folder of the new update.

The part where the MC throws the alarm clock at Cody to wake him up so he can watch you fuck his mother. I haven't laughed that hard from a VN ever. Don't know why bullying Cody is so satisfying but I fucking love it.
