I wonder what he's been saying on his discord/patreon, I seriously just check in here to look for his new excuses.
He's the biggest x-rated game developer troll ever to exist, he's been trolling us all for nearly 3 years now !

why is it that big of a deal? I get it when peeple spend money, but he's not doing that. Sure I get mad when he fails over and over, but it's not like I'm losing anything from it. I think there are many worse trolls like Breeding season, Sarah's life, Divine arms, Malise and Machine. Those took a lot of money and don't do anything.

I understand your point of view on this but still, YT shouldn't be devoid of blame for this either, he has repeatedly said many times that he planned to release the game on several occasions spanning over the course of 3 years without a proper product to show for it.

Imagine being told by a friend that he'd treat you to dinner on a Restaurant tomorrow, and since we're human we have expectations, only for that day to come he says he can't because something happened and asks you if he can reschedule it to next month, no biggie that not a big deal, yet when that month arrives he says the same thing again, for the next 3 years.

Sure, we may not be paying for it, it may not affect any part of our lives aside from giving money he wont be taking unless the game is finished, but he's already given a promise and created exceptions for himself from MANY people that check his Patreon, and Discord often, that he, apparently, is incapable of fulfilling, which in turn disappoints lot of people.

All I really want from him is transparency really, and with his last post being on November 8. I'm just concerned with communication towards his Patrons at this point.

I get that. I dont like the delays either. I just don't think hes a troll since he is not collecting money. I think he said he was releasing the game free Rakgi. So you dont have to pay him at all. Seems pretty genuine to me

I don't think he's a Troll either, quite far from it. Just a lone game developer with lots of ideas and a plan to create a quality game. As a Programmer and Animator I understand just how hard it is to create the game he's imagining, but 2 Years to create the first part of Chapter 1 is...mind boggling, I want to know exactly what kept the game delayed for so long. I still support him and hope the game does well, I just don't think he's free from critique and getting away with failed promises he's made in the past.

Quality is great and all but his game isn't so special except for a handmade art. I didn't hear from him about any idea that would justify those years of waiting. Saddest part is that even if ch1 will be out we probably won't see ch2

The point with YT now is that he isn't believable anymore. Remember when last year he created the whole "turtle chart" thing? Where every step was a in-game day and if the turtle was on the top of it, it means that the game is playable up to that in-game day? Well, he later admitted it was a lie, 'cause the game (talking about this spring) wasn't in RPGMaker yet. He did have tons of script written in probably notepad or such.
That was the only time where YT was honest with his patreon on the game development. And I assume he was honest 'cause it couldn't be worse than that (which was having zero things ready).
And now? What is he doing? Why another delay? He hired some guys to help him (or so he claims), but that doesn't seem it is working. Why he always keep things about his game so vague? And this year was full time work on ch.1...if he's still working full time on it, because "no income for a year" and "hiring people to help him in a project that for now hasn't a monetary return" sounds...well, dubious.
And yes, people who cyclically came here to say that he isn't charging so we shouldn't complain, he actually don't charge. But that's not a plus for him. Seriously, it's not a plus, it's the only way. And of course there are worst scammer out there on Patreon. But those scammers shouldn't been followed for that very reason, and YT while is not one of them, is at the very least the worst possible manager for a h-game.

P.S. Oh, and I always found it funny how when he missed the release date (and he missed the first one by almost three years now), it seems he can't predict it at all.

MasterQ - You're right is some ways, and you have every right to be frustrated, but your portrayal is pretty skewed. I've shown around 20 teaser images over the years, so to say that "zero" things are ready is false. I've put A LOT of time into this game's development without charging. I'm not immune to critique, but that should show that I do care. I think it was Kerlon pages back who said that if I wanted to learn parallax mapping it would slow things down even further. The game already HAD parallax mapping and I'd already dedicate the time to learn to do it properly and draw any missing tileset pieces. Finally, charging per release is not the "only way." I've turned down pledges and donation attempts more times than I can count because I didn't feel I'd earned them yet. I truly believe per release is the better way, I've just failed to make it work on my end.

Warlan - It sure seems that way.

Rakgi - If people pay me, great. If not, then so be it. I was never in it for the money, that was just a very nice (and surprising) result.

English is not my first language, so sometimes I fail to communicate my thoughts properly. When I said zero things ready, I didn't mean zero things done. I was talking about an actual product ready to be played. So far we only had the prologue (3 times, if we count the second one with the battle system implemented), but I don't think we can talk about the same thing released over and over. And yes, it's clearly not the same as the first one, but I don't think you can keep going releasing the same part and call it a "real progress towards ch.1".
YT, I followed you and your project almost from the start. I remember the ulmf topic, your patreon and the evolution of it, the part-time transition and the full time transition. And in all of this time, you failed quite a lot of time to deliver the chapter 'cause "it wasn't ready". Ok, it isn't ready...but right now you should have the honesty of tell your patrons what isn't ready yet. A serious report of what the hell is going on with a chapter that has no excuse to be 3 years late. A post in order to telling them why you keep failing your own word.
While you can obviosuly refuse to do so, I advice you to do it. 'cause dev on patreon keeps forgetting one thing: people who support you blindly without asking what is wrong will never be able to improve your work. Or your wok ethic.
And while I can see improvements in your work (based on what we have most seen, i.e. your artwork), you lack on the latest.

EDIT: before anyone start shouting, with work ethic I mean a trasparency on the project and such, I'm not calling YT a scammer.

So, you guys voted and you guys decided, Aylia from Aylia's Story is coming to Heaven City!

Already talked to YummyTiger and he was excited and extremely cooperative so this will be easy to make. To be fair it's nothing that we hadn't talk about a few times in the past, he is putting up a nice little package with assets for us to help bringing Aylia to the world of Alansya.

For now we're super busy and exicted to work on version 0.84 to give you guys a great patch somewhere next month, but after that we'll probably be able to start working on the crossover and soon (when they are not super busy) our CG team will start working on their version of Aylia just like Muku rendered Chloe on his style and we'll show the results to you guys.

I hope you guys are as excited for this as we are, I'm sure Ayame and Aylia will have a lot of fun together.

@odiorevolver - Huh? That's in the version already released. Not sure what you have to believe, you can literally download it and see for yourself. Anyways, why even visit this thread if you don't believe I'll release it?
