You need to ask that question to grandmothers in Australia and the Islamic government in the UK. (The UK's Digital ID and Australian Digital ID System) It's similar for me, even though we're from completely different parts of the world.
Now, if you don't provide your full personal details or use plugins that bypass security measures, you can expect surprises like this.

TLDR: Patreon Downloads going away, here's a torrent.

As some of you may or may not know AL announced back in May that they were working on their own website. While their future content will still be gated behind Patreon (or SubscribeStar) tiers, future uploads will not be hosted on Mega folders anymore and the current Mega links will likely expire in the foreseeable future.

Some scenes will be watchable seemingly for free, but for the highest tier version and alternate angles we would need a hero.

Anyway, as it happens I had downloaded the highest quality versions of all big releases (all 4K60, i.e. Awoken Tier) even before that announcement. And while I appreciate quality as much as anyone, some of the files are encoded at ludicrous bitrates. Some as high as 200 Mb/s and the average is probably 120-ish. For anyone not in the know, that's 4x of what a Bluray allows, and at that level it's way into diminishing returns territory, if not effectively placebo. The 30 files with just over 2h of total runtime (i.e. including second angles and some bonuses) come out to only 145 GB.

All of which is to say, I'm wanting to get rid of these files. But since the Patreon downloads are likely to time out soon, I wanted to preserve the originals for posterity, so I'm putting them up here as a torrent (if anyone wants to put it up on public trackers feel free, I don't have any accounts).

I'll keep an eye on finished peers for a while, but I will get rid of it eventually.

Note: These are the original filenames off the Mega folder. The numbers are slightly different on AL's website because the Shower Threesome is listed as 2, while the original release was a 2-part as 2 and 3.

If you want to backup any of the other quality tiers do it now before the links expire.

I'm currently in the middle of transcoding all this to AV1 and from brief comparisons it's visually transparent quality. If anyone is interested in those, I can put them up once transcoding is done (I only transcode during the night because the fans on my NAS are not the quietest thing in the universe).

Absolutely would be interested in those AV1s once they're ready. 150GB is burning a whole in my hard drive, but I'll keep seeding for a while.

No need to bother with the 4K60 versions. They’re resolution-upscaled and frame-rate-interpolated. That means the true highest-quality renders are the 1080p24 ones, which come out to only 16.4GB for the 30 files.
If you want higher quality, I recommend using RTX Video Super Resolution to upscale in real time. You can even enable RTX HDR at the same time if you have an HDR monitor. It works great in my experience.
If you want to make it 60 fps (which I don’t recommend), you can use Lossless Scaling to interpolate to any framerate you want, also in real time.
You can do both of these at the same time to essentially achieve 4K60.

Good to know, but I already got them anyway so doesn't really matter now.

If anyone still wants them regardless I'm gonna say last call, gonna nuke the files at the end of the year.

Probably a good thing someone compiled all their work as it looks like they're most likely retired (9 months since they last released something).

I don't think it makes sense for them to be retired when they just launched their own website. From what I read on the posts they built this thing from scratch with basically no prior knowledge, which would mean they were just likely just busy with that.

Then again it's been 3 months since the launch and there hasn't been a post, but that's not super unusual either.

Sorry, I messed up when adding the torrent to the client and used the wrong directory, so it didn't find the files
It's fixed now and seeding.
