At this point, I think it is safe to assume that the game is abandoned. It does not matter if all that T4boo has said is a lie or not. Either way, it seems that there is a loss of enthusiasm for this project. Well... life sucks but the human mind also is. Once you lose the perpetual flow, it is nearly impossible to catch it again. Even if he returned, I would not expect regular updates or the same quality. So, if he is seeing that comment, I wish the best for him. And in my opinion, if he is thinking of coming back, I recommend he design a new game instead of extending this. Stay safe and healthy.

I cannot say you're wrong. As I said, it is my opinion. I rather see a game abandoned than see that game lacking the quality of before. The plot does not have to be completely different. I assume he hasn't worked on this game since his wife passed away. It has been 8 months since the last update. You may even forget your name if it's not repeated in much that time. So, it's pretty obvious that there will not be regular updates. Not having regular updates will be boring for all of the players. The dev will also struggle with so many hardships in that process. My view is that a new brand game is the best option at the moment. However, I will miss the MC's wife so much. Her model is one of the best of all.

What??? If he doesn't continue this game, it means it's abandoned. That's what abandoned means. He obviously has very good reasons to not continue but that doesn't mean that you get to redefine "abandoned".

I'm not sure if he will be back or not, you're right that the current story focus might be too close to home for him if he does decide to resume...which sucks because the wife design/character really is one of the best I've seen, in addition to the game as a whole. Of course T4bbo should do what's best for himself and his fam
