ShadowWord was actively trying to learn how to get their AI setup to produce consistent art but was not working on the game itself. And i think they had ran into issues trying to get it to produce the more detailed poses and anything with multiple characters.

Towan had been actively learning renpy coding but i think their motivation and progress dropped a couple months after the artist who was helping them quit for personal reasons.

Overall that means no-one is actively doing anything.

An astute synopsis. ShadowWord had at first made a post showing Cream using an AI tool, presenting that art can be made for the different written scenarios efficiently. Going to ad lib here, there was a general frustration for lack of progress for the game at the time, and I think ShadowWord got tired of it all and wanted to show how easy it was to use AI to make scenes.
A user...egged him on, which prompted the effect of this inspiration.

Now if these two got together and collaberated, then maybe something could come out it it

Yeah, I was careful never to promise anything for a reason! I'm still interested in working on it, but I have a lot of other shit to do also, and I'm going at my own pace, which is frankly all over the place.

Please don't expect anything specific from me (or do, and prepare for disappointment). I'll share stuff if there's anything cool to share, but basically this is just one project out of many I enjoy fiddling with, and I cannot guarantee that anything will come of it. I hope it will! I have pleasant memories of this game, and it would be fun to have a version that doesn't look like garbage. Will I be the one to create that version? Dunno. When? Dunno.

People forget the pressures of development.
What is development?
Effort to create something out of the sum of your time.

Whence something comes into fruition, it undoubtedly causes demand. This eventually turns into overwhelming numbers that tears into media as gluttonous and insatiable as can be.

Like a seed, all crafts take time.
A nurtured tree flowers many fruits.
Code and structure built similarly with care, takes a deal of time, as well.

Edit: Unless you made Concord.
