love the awesome remake of this game i truly hope we get a full game relases this time with it
No promises, but as a long term lurker of the game where I've seen individuals giving up because there is/was too much to sort out, with the multiple 'developers' we currently have splitting the responsibilities between themselves (graphics/programming/story rewrites/tweaks etc) IMHO I think we may have a chance

At this point, all that's left is to wish everyone good luck

Xaverion, saving while peeping in Cream's room then loading will return to .peekCheck instead of where you saved.
Affirmative. o7 I will leave it be then. Same for this one? ^

If all goes to plan there will be a "full enough" release. A lot of the "in dev" stuff has been touched up, created/added to, and the last big things are the overarching story content and graphics graphics graphics...both of which are in progress but not goign to be as quick as the updates to this point.
Btw thank you Shadow Word: Porn and Novaca for your art. Ignore the AI haters.
AI haters will be the first ones to be turned into batteries when the Skynet boots up the martix...

You have been far more active than what i would designate a lurker...

NOOOOO!!! It's break a leg! (I was in Theatre) You've doomed the whole project now!
There should be a new thread for the remake
risk management disagrees with you
There was discussion for it and it likely won't happen. I like Seronis' response too. Muwahaha!

Added bonus, if the devs broke their legs then they'd have plenty of opportunity to "rest" in front of their PCs and work on the game! Quick, someone fetch the wrenches!
Please don't actually break our legs...

I am just getting healed enough to return to the world...I want to have some time in it before the next life shattering event.
I still think we should put some easter eggs in the game, our own thing, an easter egg from each "producer" as an extra, that doesn't even count or influence the game, just to see who gets the "102%"
Oh, and one little thing so you don't lose the habit
These should be discussed privately. We wouldn't want anyone knowing what or where they are...but I can get behind this.

Also...I found some typos in guests.rpy And have corrected them on my end. Right now, it's just 2 of them, from a functional standpoint would you rather I send another copy of the whole guests file for just those fixes, or in the patch notes include the line they are in and just have you fix them instead of replacing the whole file for (for now) just 2 like single letter changes? Past updates were way more substantial, so sending the file made perfect sense, but I don't now where the "cutoff" is/should be. Especially since in this instance...I am pretty sure there are meant to be no more major changes to that file until after 1.0 release. Thoughts?

...you don't realize how much emotional damage you're causing me by not using Git, you know :p I'm not gonna say Git's not intimidating, but it's ridiculously convenient and very much worth to learn. And you have automatic backups!

(For non-programmers reading this thread: Git is a program that keeps track of the changes everyone does on their own files, and if they submit their changes to the main collection they get automatically combined so everyone's in sync. If you find out you accidentally did something awful in your code, you can just trace back all the changes you made, and look at the file as it was in the past.)

In any case, want to wish y'all good luck with BSC, as I won't be logging in to my MrFluffum's accounts frequently anymore after this month :D Really enjoyed the discussions, the brainstorming, basically everything involving this small community that's build around this decades old game ^^ And really enjoyed the result as well of course ;)

And of course good luck with your pain management Pleevy. Hope they'll be able to fix your issues in a reasonable timespan.

Couldnt you just work on CSS in private and upload it using a VPN or something :p

Its a bummer to be restricted due to legal reasons. Though Im sure youre gonna be busy with your new job anyway. Good luck to you.

Too bad, your game is one of the best I've seen in years and I was really excited for an update.

Don't want to derail the thread too much, but just for everyone's info: CSS 0.3.15 was never approved on F95, so I wasn't even going to try getting 0.4.X approved on here :p

Thanks Foxy! :D And it's indeed pretty unfair that the BSC curse also hits rip-offs ;)

I really, really, really, don't dare to risk messing around with these kinds of laws :p
Thank you for the good luck wish!

Thanks Silvii <3 I'm currently huffing copious amounts of copium that at least after a hiatus of a few years the AI models will have gotten imcomporably better.

Although that would mean I would have to redo the art again, which was awfully tedious XD

Too bad, your game is one of the best I've seen in years and I was really excited for an update.
Thank you so much, the praise is appreciated :giggle:
