I got to say, my experience has been pretty good so far (well besides a few grammar errors and another issue that you guys fixed so its no big deal), the only problem I have now is... trying to get a threesome with the other girls lol. I could of sworn it was easier to do so before :ROFLMAO:
Considering I did a lot in that file...You can blame me...it's probably my fault. I can check my patch notes and see if I put anything about that specific aspect...but if they are harder, it was probably something along the lines of...I am writing the new ones and have to determine when these can and cannot happen...and in doing so..might have looked at the old ones and saw 'nothing' or something deemed too simple, which would have led to changing the requirements. Its not meant to be impossible/too hard...but I suspect, knowing me as I do, if it looked like there was no requirement at all to do it..I probably would have bumped it up. I won't promise changes, but I will promise to go back and look and see what I did (as far back as I can trace anyway) and if I did overdo it, then we can lighten those up. ^_^;

I won't promise changes, but I will promise to go back and look and see what I did (as far back as I can trace anyway) and if I did overdo it, then we can lighten those up. ^_^;
Alright..I do see some simple notes in my patch notes as far back as 0.4.2. Basically, it says "changed Amy scenes to not ALWAYS result in sex." So...yes, conditions were added. However...Amy conditions are not harder than they are with Sally, in fact those two are the most comparable. The Knux and Tails scenes were definitely changed. (You said other girls, so presumably you don't care about those) Then Marine is it's own unique one because it never existed before and there's the whole event related content to utilize/contend with...Nothing has been done re: Blaze yet, though...I have a sneaking suspicion it will...

EDIT: So...while poking around...(looking for something else, i swear) I noticed that I might have inadvertently made it harder than intended...because one condition can only be met in a very specific place...not "all the places" you might expect it...if I confirm this, then there will definitely be an update/fix.

EDIT no. 2 3: So...Yeah...I accidentally did make it "harder." Not in terms of making requirements too high, or anything direct like that...(Her and Sally's requirements are functionally the same for example.) ((I found a new piece in Amy's requirements, so this one IS slightly harder, BUT more importantly..the other one is bottlenecked. Interestingly...the non bottlenecked requirement makes sense to have, and actually, I am more inclined to put the same one on Sally than change Amy's the other direction, because it just makes sense.)) But in that there is literally only ONE place where you can fulfill one of the requirements for Amy, while in Sally's case, if you have fulfilled the one, you are basically guaranteed to fulfill the other unless you choose never to talk to her afterward. This will be fixed in the next major version at least if not sooner. Also...the primary requirements for Amy and Sally are more lax when it comes to Cream than others already...so we won't be decreasing it, just fixing the bottleneck.

EDIT no.4: Okay...so I see why it seems like the one was harder, but the other had the other requirement deeper because of the increase in variations...so it's back to the bottlneck as the primary problem...which was going to be fixed anyway...but the other parts are going to stay the same. it wont "get easier" (in terms of requirements to achieve) it will be easier to get to. (by increased ways to fulfill the bottlnecked requirement.) It also led me to fix more typos and update one section of Sally's route...Back to the files I go!

Also, the release post has been updated to include the .02 fix now. I don't suspect there will be another one until more real progress is made in new content though, unless someone finds a game-breaking bug.

Thanks. I hadn't found the detailed list yet. I have now. I am wondering, though, if it was supposed to walk through available images, shouldn't it have found the called image?
Thanks for helping me fix this. The rest was me just being curious.
There are a few possible things going on here...and it might be one or any combination of them...

First, as watching fox mentioned, you can choose which style of images do and do not appear at all and by priority. (Except for the basic Avalonx images from way back, what I will call the 'original images.') If you have all image styles selected properly, then bringing them up in the list will increase the priority, with it defaulting to the next one down if the style does not have an image yet. However, if you have not enabled a style in that menu, then it will not show any of its images, and there are only so many in the "required" set. (Cream or otherwise) I'll get a screenshot with notes before next posting.

Second...if you have done all of that and are not seeing ANY images...that is a different problem and needs to be addressed, though it is probably localized as there are a lot of people who have NOT had the same problem with the same files. We might need more information to help you work through that.

Third, there are plenty of places (still) where we probably have an image and need to add the right code references and just have not gotten to it. If you are expecting images 'everywhere' then I must disappoint you, that, or as close to that as we will likely get, is still a ways out.

Check art styles being enabled. If "none" are, only the base original graphics will show, and they are minimal.

The difference between are images missing in the game...and is the game not showing ANY images makes a difference on where the issue is/may be.

If the code is TRYING to find an image and cannot...you might be able to see the error down here...but you may have to hide the interface to do so.

Honestly when you think about it, BSC is quite odd on this site. started as aval0n's version (whether he is still working on that version is unknown, but he has not updated it in the last years and considering BSC is a hobby project any progress being made is likely slow.), then a Ren'Py version split off of that, then fuzzybunny split off of that, then betamix split off of that split off, xaverion split off of that one, and now we are at BSCr.

Oof...yeah..a lot of those are mine..AND...I have learned something about the editor I am using for code and it trying to autofill things...if I typo one somewhere and then start typo-ing it again, well there's autofills for wrong entries as well. as right ones....Fixing immediately >_< And the error image gives a good starting point to fix that...I know the approximate area and whats supposed to be going on, so that should be fixable easily enough. I think that image is one we are aware of and have renamed (An extra space makes it the same file) Will triple check though.

BSC is odd any/every-where. I don't see this as a split off...many of us that were working with Xaverion are still here doing things...just they seem to have disappeared. If they come back and want to continue, I suspect we will readopt that moniker etc. In the meantime...since BSC is odd...it takes an odd group to keep it alive...hence the "some crazy fans" label.

*Alright...The image is renamed for future iterations, so that one is solved for (effectively.)
*The pornstore error is stat vs stats, easy fix, but It also brought to attention the value was wrong, so extra fix there, but it to will be corrected in the next iteration.
*I believe all of the typos you have referenced are fixed. A couple were caught during other fixes/follow ups from others, and some were newly found. In looking for her instead of here, I also found some here meant to be hear etc. the he and her might still have one floating as there are a LOT of 'he's to look at and check context. Its so much easier to find the actual typo ones. Like rhythm. Once you attention is brought to the misspell, multiple others were found with the same error. (See above autofill and me just not thinking properly through the spelling in the first place) Thank you for you graciousness in relation to those...and being willing to list them out like that which simplifies finding and fixing them.

Long time lurker of the game but IMHO AvalonX has abandoned it - last release had a sub-title of 'dealwithit' back in 2012 (as though he was fed up dealing with the constant 'when's the next version')

As for the various ones on here - I suspect it's because since the conversion from flash to renpy the actual game is supplied in it's 'raw' state (ie not compiled or compressed) so it makes this game a suitable starting point for anyone who may be interested in making their own renpy game - & that's what I suspect all the other 'developers' have been.

(Don't know about anyone else but I find reading a load of documents explaining what commands to use etc can be boring and complicated, but BSC is a practical example of HOW those commands work and by looking at it while playing the game you can see what happens in-game & then look through the code on how it was done)

The others developers most probably have also been amateurs, wanting to know how to make a game, see BSC and they think 'hmm most of a game is there - all I need to do is see how they did stuff & basically copy/paste it to add content' but then they realise there's more to that for just one person to achieve and eventually give up.
(TBH I think Pleevy is one of these - a fan who somehow got roped in and is learning stuff as he goes alone - I know I am ;) )

I suspect it's ONE of the reasons a new thread has not been made for Remake/Reimagined, those 'crazy fans' that are continuing the project are attempting to finish the game while learning at the same time, but even they don't know if they will continue with it so opening 'yet another thread' seems pointless

Although IMHO I think we MAY have a better chance this time round, in this case it's not just 1 person attempting it but a 'crew' of fans, - probably all amateurs in some way, 1 or 2 who have never touched Renpy or AI graphics in their life, 1 or 2 that have a 'little experience' - all 'learning as they go' - but by spreading the load/stress/support between them there's the (slim) possibility of a final completion

You have to eat way to often which is unrealistic for any average person. The other is time. By the time 2300 rolls around, that's it. I have never been a supporter of having to eat, drink, ect., like some of the mods that were made for the Fallout games.

I like the newely added graphics to the game. It probably doesn't make any sense to just add them to the BTMX 0.3.5 version. So that only leaves only one possible soultion if any. Have an option to turn off the 2300 bedtime message which prevents you from doing anything. Or Have the option to end the day when you go to sleep in Cream's mother bedroom.

You eat popcorn and drinks at the movie but doesn't lasr very long so you run down to the fountain square and get more snacks that doen't last very long. Even cooking or ordering pizza don't last very long. You should be good for at least 6 hrs after eating a meal. If you eat breakfast - lunch - then supper that should account for at leat 18hrs of you day.

The gane has emproved a lot compared to where it was when work on it ended. For myself, the two things, well maybe the one thing that will end up being a game killer for myself is this time thing. As it is you are forced to try and get certain things done but can't because of the way time is. Need to be able to play at a slow relaxed thinking posture way as to what you want to do or not do. Is the clock still running when you are just looking at the screen and thinking about what it is you want to do?

Not as good as hoped, especially with the speed things were moving before...but better a little good news than nothing.
Any prediction for the next update?
No clue. There have been a lot of things caught after this mini release and time has been spent fixing those as opposed to trying to add new content, even planned new content...so no...hopefully faster than this one, but no promises until we see what kind of groove the creative side of things can find.

Part 0ish: No, time is not constantly flowing. When you "take actions" in the game, those actions move time along. So you can sit and plan and decide what you want to do, and definitely play at a relaxed pace.
Part 1: Walkthrough. Pretty sure the only posted one is for 0.3.x level version of the game before changes were made to such things as food needs and time passage adjustments. to my knowledge no one has made one for anything 0.4 and beyond.
Part 2: It is very possible that the food needs and time passage are not synchronized like reality. It is a quasi realistic mechanic for the game that was, in a form even in the older game, and the changes have been made keeping the spirit of that in mind. So, there will be time passage, you are not going to be able to mash everything into one day...and food will be needed even if not 3 square meals a day. Could it be fine tuned? Probably. I don't think the food consumption and usage was adjusted significantly after the time changes, including not being able to do things after 2300.

Now...thinking about it...if the minimum time passage chunk is 15 minutes, and an activity takes 1 hunger spot, then evrey hour is 4, and since 5 to -5 is ten, we see 2.5 hours per full food transition. Well..in concept that would be an easy enough fix...if we double those values but leave the usage the same for when things happen, a full meal would give you 5 hours, much closer to what you are referencing. Maybe some smaller adjustments to what food gives you too for snacks could happen too. Though, this means changes throughout the whole game would have to be done (again.)

Now, as for time passage...the idea (even if not perfectly executed) is that the time passage for what is happening makes sense most of the time, with a minimum amount so we're not breaking time into real time. If the scene says you play in the pool for an hour...then 60 minutes should pass in the in game time. If it says you play video games for 3 hours...then 3 hours should pass. Note: Each of these things probably only uses 1 hunger point, even though it is much longer time than the above example...which, in its own way, makes sense. If I sit on a couch playing video games..I might get a little hungry, but if I spent the same amount of time working out...i would likely get more hungry.

One of the biggest time issues in the newer version is being fixed on the back end now, specifically, the time from when you leave downtown and go home. You could leave downtown at 9AM, it would still force you to 6 PM. I know for a fact a fix of that was worked on in the last few days...but There has been no plans/discussion of removing the need to feed, or the passage of time overall from the game.
