Your guide for day one to remove dress and panties does not work for 0.7.5 remake
I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure I put a notice or disclaimer stating the guide was only for Novilon version of the game, & it only 'worked' mainly because the massive 'mall stall time glitch' and would not work on the 'remake' version(s)

Just checked - I did (see spoiler for a reminder)
I even mentioned SOME of it is still relevant just that it may take more than a day to do

Of course my guide is probably only one way of doing things, it's down to players to see if they can come up with a better way through experimenting

I have been looking at updating the guide for remake+ versions but other commitments have taken priority atm (you mentioned the graphics - guess what one of those commitments has been lol) plus the fact that content has been changed quite a bit so stats etc have changed so all my past notes & flowcharts need updating for the newer versions

I think you may have misunderstood what I was trying to say. I have been playing BSC ever sence it was ported to renpy. Then continued to play it with all the different folk who was trying to emprove the game. There was a one day guise way back by someone and his one day was almost identical to yours. If you noticed in my comments I referenced BTMX 0.3.5 and stated that the only reason it could not be done was due to time. I'm not a fan of any game that wants to havr time in it. It's time to drink, it's time to eat, it's time to sleep. etc. Mods for this kind of stuff was done for Fallout 3. The developer started to add the stuf to their games. For myself it just ruins the game.

I also commented that the game has improved especially so because of the graphics. Haven't really noticed any change in the story line at this time. Overall, by all appearances once everything is done BSC will end up being a better game thanks to some die hard fans.

I don't want to speak for Foxy, but...I think we latch onto certain things that are said, because if we are working on the project, and we want it to be successful and we want people to like it, when they tell us the opposite, we have to pay attention to that. At best, we would just have to completely disregard it and let it be like water off a ducks back, but I think we care about what the community thinks enough to at least have a discussion. If we misinterpret...we are mature enough to stop and review and talk through things.

In this particular case...from my memory, Time has always been part of the game...at least as far back as I remember being exposed to it...even if it was flawed and there were ways to take advantage of poor coding of it. One of the key parts of those working on it has proverbially been the mantra, "maintain the spirit of the original" even if we are changing/adding/etc. Which is why I said in the other post, and believe it to be the case in this group, that there is no plan to remove the time passage or food mechanic. Sorry if that makes you not like the game as much...but its a functional dynamic for this game from way back.

I got to say, my experience has been pretty good so far (well besides a few grammar errors and another issue that you guys fixed so its no big deal), the only problem I have now is... trying to get a threesome with the other girls lol. I could of sworn it was easier to do so before :ROFLMAO:
EDIT no.4: Okay...so I see why it seems like the one was harder, but the other had the other requirement deeper because of the increase in variations...so it's back to the bottlneck as the primary problem...which was going to be fixed anyway...but the other parts are going to stay the same. it wont "get easier" (in terms of requirements to achieve) it will be easier to get to. (by increased ways to fulfill the bottlnecked requirement.) It also led me to fix more typos and update one section of Sally's route...Back to the files I go!
Alright...Update no. 5: (Sick of me yet?) on the back end...A fix is in place to mitigate part of the change that was made at some point that did effectively make it a lot harder...but it still fits within the dynamic made by others before my time being involved at all, and does not revert it back to what it likely was back in 3.5 etc. The problem with going that far back is that it makes easy for her first time to be a threesome, which is "unrealistic" to the way the game is made whether you think of it as realistic in general or not. So, the extra requirement, which mitigates that is staying put (making it 'harder' to get to) BUT the lack of additional location where that can be triggered has been fixed...(maybe not as good as it could as it is mixed in the phone conversation content...but partially at least-may bump it up there again, though with Amy...you have the phone AND the park encounter while Sally just has the phone...so i think its "balanced" if not still 'harder than you might like it to be.') basically...its lower on the priority stick for now...but it wouldn't take much to make it even easier...AND theres options in the new ideas/content that can add to it as well...so we may find the right balance overall with that without changing the current/old content further...we'll see.

Well... I see. Thanks for all the info (I read every single one of your responses and have finally caught up lol). You have put in more work than I expected. And all I can say is thanks for responding to my comment. I hope this didn't take up too much of your time though. I don't want you get burned out in anyway (y)

The problem with going that far back is that it makes easy for her first time to be a threesome,
havent read code on this specific scene (which i can do, just havent) but wouldnt the easiest fix for this just to make one of the required flags for the 3some scene being its not her first time ? thats the actual purpose of the 'flags' variables as compared to 'achv' variables. achievements are bragging rights. flags are meant for scene locks that go beyond stat requirements. even if you have the stats you cant do something if logical prerequisite 'flags' havent been set

I am a bit verbose...apologies if needed. If not...more words..More Words!...MOAR WERDS!
*Ahem*
It did not take up "too much time." Some yes...but bare minimum, I learn from it. Learn more of the inner workings so as to make fewer mistakes later, which then saves time. Also gives me better understanding if I need to copy, emulate, or otherwise use content already in existence. So don't worry about that.
Aside...i already have another way to add more options for the floating requirement, and started writing for it yesterday. Hopefully this will jump start that whole section and I can really get my rear in gear.

No need to dive into the code. Its not the flag in question that causes it to be more difficult to get to...though it is one that was added if my memory and notes are accurate. (I was not keeping whole copies on the way through 0.4/5/6...I only have 0.7 and beyond) I suppose I could go download the 0.3x from the original post and compare...but if it is what I think, the end result would be the same after reviewing anyway. If I understand the flags and things well enough, the threesome cannot be her first time, and the extra requirement has more than one spot to be triggered even if still "harder than it used to be" as referenced in prior discussion...and I am adding another spot for the "bottlneck one" in the latest stuff I am working on anyway, so while it still may not ever be "as easy as it used to be" (because of those logic changes) it won't be as hard as I accidentally made it.

Not as good as hoped, especially with the speed things were moving before...but better a little good news than nothing.

No clue. There have been a lot of things caught after this mini release and time has been spent fixing those as opposed to trying to add new content, even planned new content...so no...hopefully faster than this one, but no promises until we see what kind of groove the creative side of things can find.

Part 0ish: No, time is not constantly flowing. When you "take actions" in the game, those actions move time along. So you can sit and plan and decide what you want to do, and definitely play at a relaxed pace.
Part 1: Walkthrough. Pretty sure the only posted one is for 0.3.x level version of the game before changes were made to such things as food needs and time passage adjustments. to my knowledge no one has made one for anything 0.4 and beyond.
Part 2: It is very possible that the food needs and time passage are not synchronized like reality. It is a quasi realistic mechanic for the game that was, in a form even in the older game, and the changes have been made keeping the spirit of that in mind. So, there will be time passage, you are not going to be able to mash everything into one day...and food will be needed even if not 3 square meals a day. Could it be fine tuned? Probably. I don't think the food consumption and usage was adjusted significantly after the time changes, including not being able to do things after 2300.

Now...thinking about it...if the minimum time passage chunk is 15 minutes, and an activity takes 1 hunger spot, then evrey hour is 4, and since 5 to -5 is ten, we see 2.5 hours per full food transition. Well..in concept that would be an easy enough fix...if we double those values but leave the usage the same for when things happen, a full meal would give you 5 hours, much closer to what you are referencing. Maybe some smaller adjustments to what food gives you too for snacks could happen too. Though, this means changes throughout the whole game would have to be done (again.)

Now, as for time passage...the idea (even if not perfectly executed) is that the time passage for what is happening makes sense most of the time, with a minimum amount so we're not breaking time into real time. If the scene says you play in the pool for an hour...then 60 minutes should pass in the in game time. If it says you play video games for 3 hours...then 3 hours should pass. Note: Each of these things probably only uses 1 hunger point, even though it is much longer time than the above example...which, in its own way, makes sense. If I sit on a couch playing video games..I might get a little hungry, but if I spent the same amount of time working out...i would likely get more hungry.

One of the biggest time issues in the newer version is being fixed on the back end now, specifically, the time from when you leave downtown and go home. You could leave downtown at 9AM, it would still force you to 6 PM. I know for a fact a fix of that was worked on in the last few days...but There has been no plans/discussion of removing the need to feed, or the passage of time overall from the game.
I dont know if anyone else has mentioned this (i will forget to comment if i dont do it immediately), but instead of reworking the game to "half food consumption", why dont you just double the total hunger bar, and double the amount that each food fills the hunger bar. That would effectively give you the same effect, though not perfectly, with (probably) minimal work.

*Raises hand* I did actually! :D You might have missed it in the wall of text...but its there (see quote) and I dunno...maybe others have before too...who knows....however...it is almost never as simple as, just double the number. First, hunger is not attached to static increments of time like my theoretical example...IE, like time, hunger is not moving constantly...it gets moved when action is taken. Thus, either a change to the core of its measurement either has to take in mind that all those hunger affecting changes mixed into the code are staying the same as they are now despite the doubling...OR we have to go through and find ALL of them and determine which ones need to be adjusted and then make changes accordingly after we "double the numbers." (See the above example of different activity levels taking different times and thus having technically different hunger generation.) Is it doable? Sure. Is it worth it? Not yet determined.

Things are generally quieter here...which is good in the sense that it means we likely got all the big issues from the release (There are leftover typos and they'll bug some for a while, but we'll get them cleaned up soon enough.) and focus can shift more wholly to forward movement. Obviously if you find something big, please tell us...feel free to tell us typos...but if you have not reviewed what others have already told us its more likely to be repeating over stuff we already solved for. Not saying ignore them, but know that several in the various guest lines (Amy, Sally, Knuckles, Tails) have been addressed already in the code we're working with. I wont promise a 0.7.5.03 to solve them, but maybe.

Work has begun on a new parts that had placeholders in 0.7.5 AND it adds to the threesome availability question from above, so that will be in the next release for sure. What version and timing, still too soon to tell.

I know that with the reworks old guides will not be accurate anymore.

What I am thinking for a new Guide is a list of Requirements for certain actions to succeed.
An example would be what are the stat minimum for "Remove Dress" or Cream takes a shower with Sonic.

A guild like this would allow you to play the game how you want, while letting you know when you can take it to the next stage with Cream.

Found another typo, slowl

Also found an error in one of the ending dialouges:

"You give her a big kiss in the forehead" should be "on the forehead"

And the credits are cut off for some reason
