I'm pretty sure some of the hints are just wrong? Not sure if I'm just missing a mechanic, though. Love the art and overall concept, but I had this problem when I played with MTool back at release, as well.

fuck ghosts, get info from them, then read the description of the "information" in your inventory and choose the item you need based on the prompts at the end of the three day period.
more information = more hints
example: there is a hint "two O's" and "it's pink" so it's either a rOtOr or a cOndOm or OnahOl
