Yes. The name of this thread has "Ep 2" in it, which stands for "Episode 2". So, we're still in Episode 2.

There is now a walkthrough ingame which is like a miracle EXACTLY coded like IAmAB's Mod.
Basicially the dev just stolen other people's work.

well - it's something completely different whether you steal someone's work for your own use (piracy), or if you take someone's work and put it in your own crap and sell it to others like it's yours now. Even without asking in first sight.
This is a shitty move, and reason for me to blacklist that game and that dev at all. Hopefully there will be as many players as possible who think alike.

I wasn't that far into the game and either had multiple options with one highlighted, or only single options in choices. Full fresh start in Windows. Tried several times, same result.

That is messed up. One of my WT mods is officially a part of one of the games I modded but that's because the dev asked me to make a WT only version of my mod to be a part of the official game before he released it to his testers. I still released when it went public a version with also my cheats still.

Normally, you need to download Episode 1 and play it to its conclusion, and then play Episode 2 afterward. If you're using mods, though, I can't say whether that's still true. I would assume so, but I can't guarantee it since I don't use mods.

I was about to download the update but...then i saw the mod steal. No longer supporting and downloading his "work".
So, here is the save that had the Game Over. During the Shopping Trip the WT highlight SPY twice. That caused the game over. IAmAB is this a mod issue in Part 1, or should I scrap this version and redownload?
EDIT: I tried a fresh DL of all components and got different result. Must have been a pre-fix from a long time ago.

I forgot this was P1. Having a similar issue in another game without WT where no choice is good and all really bad ones are mandatory.

I just took a look at the game code for Episode 2 since I've not played I finished Episode 1 some time last year.
So far there is no reason for a WT mod as it's just a plain play through, no variables and no Game Over choices.
AS FOR WHAT THE DEV DID,
since I've not looked into Episode 1 but in Episode 2 the dev took and used IamAB's player rename code just like IamAB showed though the line of code used is very generic to the point if the dev had changed 1 or 2 words in the question to change the player's name that he could have plausibly denied he had stolen it from IamAB.
I'm not defending the dev since this was really lazy on the dev's part and he could (and should) have wrote his own very similar code in about 30 seconds but what he did steal was a very generic single line of code.

There are definitely some games on here with better storylines and there are definitely many many games on here with far worse storylines but some of us are getting a kick out of this porn parody of Breaking Bad meets GTA.
