I wrote to the developer and he replied that you need to choose "a new game - chapter 10". Load from save does not work.

Okay, I played this and it's enjoyable for what it is, but you really have to wonder ...

I follow you for the first half of the first sentence...

The rest (although intellectually good analysed and possibly true) is just a waste of time IMO, I like more to play the game and have lots of fun; rather than reading all your posting completely. No offend, just my very personal view.

If you choose "Go with Martha" instead of "Wait for Dorothy" that gets you to the TBC text.
