Thank you so much for your work on this game.
It would be awesome to even have some basic sound effects for the sex animations sequences(pumping, fleshy sounds, a little bit of female moaning when appropriate maybe etc )
I might add some in the future, I just don't want random groaning that don't make sense or don't fit the char.

I'm not sure, I think I heard them in one of these HS games. I actually don't know what Nani refers to :LOL:
It pretty much means somewhere between "you whot mate?" (in your best Ray Winston accent) and WTF, sometimes elaborated to "Nani da fuq?!". It's one of those odd phrases that jump out at you when listening to dubbed anime since it often has drawn out funny intonation ala Na - niiie, it is also a massive meme. I feel like such a weeb now,o_O

Sound effects are kinda annoying if they were just dupped over a h-scene. Better would be if they were especially created for the h-scene, but that would rise the costs and the production time tremendously.

True weebiness is denoted not by watching anime but by believing that Japan is the greatest country in the world and can do no wrong - when you're not Japanese yourself. This is why a lot of weebs that go on holiday to Japan come either disillusioned or as a new Ganguro.
Don't feel too bad about your level of weebiness. It's nothing serious and can be treated through therapy. :p

It is a meme originated from a old anime, Hokuto no Ken. Used to express confusion. Check the net for more information.

Nani simply mean What? it's the contraction of "Nan desu ka?" often use in anime or japanese drama with weird intonation depending the character.
Thanks guys. Can you teach me japanese too :LOL:? With three teachers like that I'll learn the language in no time!

wanted to try that out and from start, after the sleep in the bed, traceback after traceback
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
Holy sh... that's a wall of errors.
I actually thought I had that sorted out, I can't even reproduce the error, it never happened once to me and I playtest a lot as you might've guessed :unsure:
Does it always happen? Always at the same spot? What happens if you delete the save and start fresh (you can activate skip unseen in preferences if you want to try).

This is just a guess, but it may have something to do with translation files (possibly German), considering this part of the traceback:

Code:
File "game/intro_day1.rpy", line 15, in script
"Voice" "Hello [mrms] [pcsure], this is Maggy Shelter. I'm sorry but I have bad news for you."
File "renpy/common/00library.rpy", line 268, in say
who(what, interact=interact, *args, **kwargs)
RuntimeError: maximum recursion depth exceeded
...
File "M:\Neuer Ordner\Bad Memories 0.5.2\renpy\character.py", line 1126, in __call__
what = what_pattern.replace("[what]", sub(what, translate=True))
File "M:\Neuer Ordner\Bad Memories 0.5.2\renpy\character.py", line 1115, in sub
return renpy.substitutions.substitute(s, scope=scope, force=force, translate=translate)[0]
File "M:\Neuer Ordner\Bad Memories 0.5.2\renpy\substitutions.py", line 253, in substitute
s = formatter.vformat(s, (), kwargs)
Or the way "mrms" and/or "pcsure" are defined in the script.
Somehow it creates an infinite loop when combined with (German) translation files.

There is no translation unless added by the player, I completely write and release in english :unsure:
But I know for a fact that it must have something to do with the Character names, I just can't figure out what exactly.
