It would be strange if Rec added a scene with Rachel being nudged through and our MC not being involved. Would probably be the batsignal for our "This is NTR!!!!" guy who already amused us with it in the last update.

In fact, no. Said character, the ex of our esteemed psychologist was meant by me. I'm pretty sure this scenario from the last update was more of a dig at the people who call every fly fart NTR. I highly doubt there will be any more in this regard.Then it is confirmed that the next update has NTR

I have tried downloading the files again, both from Mega and Uploadheaven. Same result.
I have had similar issues with other games, and reported it here on the forum, but nobody has given an answer.
The thing is, some games only run in the 32-bit version. Like when there is a game with both game.exe and game-32.exe files, only the 32-bit version runs ok.
Running Win10 with all the updates.
So maybe the developer can add a 32-bit file to the compilation??

Well, however, the ordinary files delivered do not work for me.
The exception is the Bad-Memories-32 file in the Win32/64 compressed package here.

So whatever the difference is between the two exe-files in this package, it is affecting my computer, and I would like to know why.

Sorry, I missed that one. The game is not 32 bit, it's 64 bit only, the 32 bit exe is not only not included, but all the relevant files are not existing in the build.
What you can do is install renpy and play the game from the renpy launcher, or build a 32 bit version with it.
