This game, is special in some ways.
Hard to put a Finger on, but I'll try.
At first I come to this game like i do to each of "these" games.
That means I read the name, if its not cringy, i read the tags.
If they do not have some I strictly dislike (Scat f.e) I click the MEGA-Mirror and Download.
Few minutes later I start playing with the "And again, lets see what Max is doing this Time and how much Grind it costs me."-Attitude
And yes, dont get my "This game is Special" Headliner wrong: It is exactly what you think.
Youre Dad is gone because of "reasons".
You are adult now and come back home because of " reasons".
You have a house full of Girls "... Reasons"
and you cant wait to bang them all.
Nothing Special at this Front. Just like 98409234 other F95 games.
What makes it special is, to begin with, that the writing is not like your everyday F95 game. Not that there are huge Novel-Artists skills involved. Nor was it Shakespeere who wrote it.
But its not the typical Porn-Talk you always have. It starts with the fact that one girl dont speak at all and the Topic quickly shifts from "What am I doing here" to serious Topics like deep psychologic issues.
Its definitly not a lightwight on this side. And slowly you see that the Dev has really thought about the Title "Bad Memories" in more then one way.
Another important fact is, that most of the models in this game are HOT AS FUCK. Nice chosen haircuts, freakles, makeup etc.. And if you are like me,
and like realistic boobie sizes. You are right here. It has a fair share between low A-cups and D-Cup Girls.
On the graphics side .. yeaaah.. lets say it like this: The models are burning hot. But the rooms and ambient etc..
I've seen better. And I've seen much MUCH worser. The lighting is really good. The Poses are natural (and only funny if they are supposed to be funny).
DOF is used sometimes. But mostly at the beginning of the game.
A Downside: The game is linear. It feels like a "You can do what you want to" game. But thats just an illusion. You have to do exactly what the Dev wants
you to do. Even if you can roam free between rooms, there is nothing to see/do until you did what you have to do.
Then you have the "Decision" (Route) and follow it until you get back the illusion of freedom. That might change it from the classical Picturebook-VNs here
but not really. There is a clear way to play this game, no exploration, no freedom of action, no "lets see what XY is doing right now". Just "Do what I want you to do, but take
as many time as you want".
Because of this Downside, which is fundamental important to me, just 4 instead of 5 stars.
