You can make your own slurping sounds and moans. You know, passion for the craft and all...
Yeah, let Ellie sound like Samuel L. Jackson xD

yeah, that's the problem maybe^^ just some generic sounds, which some games are using, aren't really good.....and to be good, you would need different ones for each charachter, which is quite hard, i guess - unless you'll find some voice actresses (costs money probably).......and it also has to fit the character :censored:
Exactly.

If you want to pay, this person is quite good!

Although for Ellie, I think all you need is some squeaks and fidgety sounds and you're golden! :)
Yeah I know about her and her prices...
Maybe someday in the faaaar away future^^"
Edit: she's good though

@Master of Puppets MC left shortly after he/she went "adult", that's been 6 years ago from where the story starts.
So they're early-to-mid twenties then. That matches up with what I thought from how FMC looks.

You do know Rachel was abusive towards the Mc when she was a child right?

Those memories of the MC being screamed at were from Rachel.

That's why the MC hates her. It is all explained I don't get how you missed it.
I guess there's a bit of confusion when MC first meets her and clearly hates her, as the dreams start later (well, there's one in the hotel but IIRC that one is just MC's father abusing her). It's a bit disorienting when MC hates someone and we don't know the reason, particularly when in the present she seems perfectly nice. Once the dreams start, then there's trying to reconcile who she is now with who she was before, but that is something the character is also trying to do so I'd say at that point it's just helping the player identify with the character.

Okay, by now most of you should have played the update. I have two questions:

And regarding the sound, my advice would be not to do it half-arsed. Adding sporadic sound effects can be worse than having nothing.

Personally, before I start any "adult interactive fiction" (aka "porn game") I always go to preferences and Mute All.
It's a habit born of games with overused generic music, or utter silence abruptly broken by loud unexpected sex noises (that tended to terrify more often than arouse.)
So, if you add sounds I won't even notice.

Why not do a poll? It's your game, if you want sound, add it.

I think most people prefer the voices they make-up for the characters themselves over voice actors.

I tend to mute the sound as well for the exact same reasons. Most games I played just don't do it right and the sound is more annoying than anything else. On the other hand I think if it's done well, the game could only benefit.
I prefer quality over quantity so I'm not going to make a poll about it, sorry, but that's a decision I have to make for myself.

I tend to turn off sound too unless I know it'll benefit my game. For example in Melody, I'll have the music on, but nothing else.

On the other hand, there is a very popular game, that is music themed, that does not have a soundtrack. That has always struck me as odd. Music can be very powerfull.
