The Steam version has the same problems with not running very well, and loosing video (text only) after a few minutes of play. The Steam version is also a beta.

I finished playing it a bit and no, it isn't the "Beta" version. Unless you put it in the "Beta" branch.

The only issue I have is with one of the animations (when your MC kisses Rachel for the first time? I don't remember) anyways, when they are kissing, it starts off fine but once they move their head sideways, it stutters/lags a bit for me.

I mean existing scenes has gotten a new overhaul etc, but I could find any new scenes. Should I start a new game is it because my latest save is at the end of the former version?

I have wondered about that. Will it be sufficient to go back to an appropriate save, or will the End Of Interim interview be called off because now there is more qi available. No more qi was the signal for the end of interim right?

You may wish to, or wait until the full release instead of the beta, it may provide more stability.

I did indeed try to replay from scratch. How ever I didnt really find any new scenes. The game did indeed still end at the same point.

Then you probably downloaded the old version, which is still there (or there again, since it got removed at first). Nonetheless, I'd wait for the official release.

There's a Beta in the Beta branch, if you check the properties and check the Betas. My game is fucked up even when not being in that branch so, cool.
