All we know for sure is that the MC is sitting on the pot, when in previous scenes the male MC has had no issues peeing standing up, so... /shrug
I honestly don't care either way, I'm just kinda hoping the dev did it intentionally to see if anyone caught it.

Maybe I'm mixing up scenes, but I thought the was an earlier scene where the male MC "accidentially" walks in on Rachel (?) in the shower because they need to pee, and then does so standing up.I don't think that happened

Must admit, I don't remember that scene. I only played as a male once, that was to get the achievement (on the STEAM version) and, honestly, I don't find antics that took place while on/at the toilet that memorable...

In my eyes, both are relatively irrelevant anyway, unless one has to compensate. Bad Memories is solid. There may be a few that are “better”, but there's definitely a whole bunch that are objectively worse.

This is an excellent game.
I generally avoid comparing games though, different genres, themes and scopes make that difficult anyway, at least for me.
Besides, personal taste and preferences play in too.
If I like a game, I play it. If I like it a lot I usually try to support the dev somehow, if I don't like it I don't play it. I'm a very simple person.
I get that others enjoy comparing stuff though
