Sorry forgot to add the spoiler tag though don't worry what i said dosen't spoil much, won't say anything else about it as to not spoil anything else.
There was a bug in that version, it only lets you leave the map screen after you have made a certain number of choices there, but if there are routes you aren't on, there aren't enough available options for you to do, to trigger leaving the map again.
I think Rec uploaded a fix as an attachment quite a few pages back, so try searching for that.

He said that for family reasons he would be away for a fortnight (it turned out to be three), he didn't say anything about the release, and by the way, the release for testing was already released a long time ago. Now the beta is out, what's wrong with it?

Beta played fine for me; I started a new game, purposely skipped Hanna, missed the porn stars and missed the coworker 3-some so I guess there could be issues.

I checked it out as well, and pursued every branch I could except for the woman at the rental office, so that's probably the scene missing in my gallery at the moment. Was disappointed that the scene with the porn stars was only a photo op, though. Maybe my memory is playing tricks on me, I'd swear there used to be an option for more there.
