I did indeed get it from my Substar Sub back when, before I bought it on Steam. In addition to the pics there is a short animation I believe of them fukking each other.

POV style is super common and found in quite a large number of AVNs. Even if they show 3rd person for make outs and such (which is better for kissing scenes) the POV is used for almost everything else. This includes some of the most successful products here and on Steam or GOG. So I wouldn't expect a move away from POV anytime soon and 100% expect it will not change this AVN.

B) It's totally unnecessary.
C) You're better off without it. The game already has w*ncest and what the patch does it change a relationship that makes the story lose sense. It changes Rachel from your father's girlfriend to your mother, which makes no sense, since your mother is already dead and is mentioned some times. Dialogues from the past make no sense with Rachel as MC's mother, and you still have the chance to call her Mom later on in the story without the patch.

I think it has been stated countless times, but just for anyone that did miss it before: This isn't an incest game that was censored/stepified to avoid censorship. The love interests include your father's girlfriend, and the daughter of her and your father. Those are their canonical identities, and their history, as your dad's lover after your mother went away, and the offspring of that union, are central to their role in the story. This is a story about a stepmother and a half-sister, and the trauma explicitly deriving from some of that relationship (because your father is an asshole).
Or, if I may be direct: Don't install an incest patch for this one. It doesn't make sense, anymore than just modding any two random characters to be related for incest.

I concur the patch is solely to force Rachel to be blood related and it has to alter a LOT of background for that. The bad memories are based off the severe change in his/her father after her/his mother died. The abuse of Rachel lead to her abuse of alcohol and the MC. Altering that - IMO - is just dumb or makes the story nonsense.
Yes Rachel is completely unrelated - she is not even a step mother - but that is OK because Ellie is and has always been.

I'd quibble and say that yes, de jure she's not the protagonist's stepmother (see the talk about inheritance), but de facto in terms of relationship dynamics she is. How much that matters to someone is between you and your kinks
