I am not on date steph and jacky path, but in the new update the steph coffe together or you could visit your gf both choices taking me to the same route on the dating path of steph and jacky, even though I didn't choose to date them

Yeah, that happens when you tried to date steph, but then said no to the couple. I figured nobody would go that route, so I didn't finish it and wanted to remove the option to still go for a coffee with Steph, but then forgot about it
I'm still not a 100% sure tbh, but probably the option is going to disappear in the next update.

Rec has repeatedly stated that he will only continue with TH once he has fully completed BM. As you can see, BM is not yet complete...

Made an incest patch, maybe somebody will be interested.
version: [v0.9.5]
feature: Eng only. Makes Rachel mc's mother and Ellie mc's sister instead of half-sister.
pc install: Unzip to the "game" folder.

notes:
I might have missed something, if you spot any lines with the old or new content that should be changed, let me know(preferably with a description of the scene and line text, a screenshot would also help).
This patch should be compatible with future versions(unless the dev changes the code).

That patch was never needed...
It make Rachel the mother of the MC instead of being it's father ex-girlfriend.
Which don't make any sens with the story, because the MC's mother is dead and this, just as much as the fact that Rachel is MC father ex-girlfriend, is part of the plot.
There is incest in this game without patch. It's Ellie, who is the MC half-sister, being the daughter of Rachel and the MC father.

Yeah, certain games pretty much need an i-patch to make sense. Anything written to have a blatant "landlady" and "roommate" talking about how forbidden a relationship would be - it's like, what? Are you high? No one cares if someone dates their landlord. It makes it very obvious we're just using euphemisms and code-words, and resetting those back to what they were clearly intended to be all along makes way more sense.

But plenty of games aren't written that way, and not every milf has to be your mom or every younger girl your sister (or much younger girl your daughter). A lot of times, trying to force that dynamic just makes the story way worse.

With this game, it definitely works better as-is than trying to ham-fist things to make Ellie your full sister or Rachel your mom. Rachel only being your stepmom is a large part of the social dynamic between the two characters. Having her be not related to you and resenting you for being the offspring of the man who abused her. Having Ellie be her daughter, so she has a reason to treat her differently than you. The dramatic tension and reveal over whether or not Ellie is actually your sister at all. The entire story is pretty much predicated on the relationship as presented. Changing it ruins it.

It would be like trying to write an i-patch to make Kat your mom and Jada your sister. Sure, you could do it, but it wouldn't make much sense in the story.

I think Rec deeply analyzed a way to deliver an incest plot to not get his ass kicked from Patreon, and at the same time, without using the landlady, roommate BS, and has succeeded, but generated a massive discussion about the ipatch being useless and an immersion breaker. Kind of a genius move in my book

Arguably, that's his other game.

If you write a story where the main character is having sex with his sister, his mother, his grandmother, his daughter, his aunt, and some other people who might be his half-sisters or cousins or something similar, but they're all from parallel universes where they're not actually related to him specifically, is it still incest?

Is a parallel universe version of your mother who didn't actually give birth to you, and whose only son is dead, still sufficiently your mother for purposes of incest? Or does the alternate reality context change the rules?

It's like when people ask the incredibly philosophical question of whether or not having sex with your alternate universe self counts as gay incest sex or masturbation. If it's YOU, but NOT you, is it the equivalent of having sex with your identical twin? Or does it "not count"?

These are the metaphysical conundrums Rec would have us contemplate.
