Did you call the cute barista Hannah before ? Normally you can go to school and meet Ellie, go to your futur work and go to the cafe talk with the barista, after you come back to home and a event trigger.

This could be a bug from 0.3, if you use a save from that version it carries over to the new update.
I'd try a fresh game (activate "skip all" in preferences if you don't want to read everything again).
