1) It's a multi-mod, the ChoiceGuide is only one of many additional features.
2) It was never claimed to give "best" choice. Quote from multi-mod feature list: "Adds in-game walkthrough ChoiceGuide noting variable changes and highlighting important choices."

"Important" does not equal "best" in my native language. I've always felt I've stated 110% accurate info in my shares especially considering I have absolutely zero monetary-gain skin involved.

Hopefully it stays that way. To be honest, I started getting a bit of nervous suspicion when Jada came out of Rachel's room during "pill time".

It feels pretty obvious she'd be taking advantage. Whether that's just her being nosy, wanting to talk Rachel into letting her stay even more, trying to be a wingman and talk Rachel into being attracted to the MC, or going full-on molester is a pretty wide range of possibilities, but the last one is shading pretty close to NTR if the MC is interested in pursuing anything with Rachel.

And yes, I may be paranoid, but there are tons of games, which were they happen in real life would be despicable, if not downright vile. Like everyone forgot about the pills. And no one seemed to care about the back story.

I pretty much started the game assuming Rachel was the one who burned down our apartment in an attempt to force us to have to come home (only strengthened by the fact that she keeps showing up in places where we are as if she's stalking us). From there it's not a huge step to assume she's colluding with Maggy to some degree (not a single apartment to rent anywhere in the city? Seriously? It's a convenient situation to further the plot, but it could also be justified in-universe).

I'm paranoid about the pills as well. Not just where they came from, who prescribed them, and why (since they could just be innocent antidepressants with coincidental side-effects, or there could be more sinister things going on), but also whether or not someone (her doctor? her "precious"?) might try to take advantage of the situation. It seems like too major a plot element to just be a minor throwaway.

I was also suspicious of Katherine at first, but that's mostly off the table now. Her secrets just seem more mundane and dysfunctional than sinister now (especially now that she's clearly my broken little bird and I need to waifu her), and I can roll with that.

There's just something about the tone of this game that just leaves me constantly assuming some dark and terrible revelation is waiting just around the corner. Like when we find out what actually happened to our sister, it's probably not going to be pleasant.

I think there's enough of girls now, maybe too many alreay but still enjoyed the sex scene with Maggy.

I actually bypassed the sex scene with Maggy entirely because I feel like the MC would be completely overwhelmed at this point, what with a horny sister, a stepmom who clearly wants to be more, a horny spitfire, a shrink who is clearly repressing a boatload of issues herself, and a perky coffee shop girl. With all that's going on I can't really see flirting with Maggy, the co-worker, or the two porn actresses being something that would make all that much sense. Unless the MC suddenly realizes that they exist inside a porn game and the harem route is an option (which kind of seems tonally wrong for this game).

If anything, I'm even starting to regret flirting with/dating Hanna, because she caught feelings real quick, and I feel like that relationship is never going to end well if I'm already juggling 4 other girls in my bed. She's just so sincere and innocent that it feels like it's going to feel real bad when the wheels start coming off that relationship.

Haven't played in a couple of updates does the female route still feel more natural than the male mc?

It definitely feels like female MC adds way more to the narrative, at least for me. It's a large part of what made this game stand out for me and got me invested in the story.

Though I wouldn't be adverse to an eventual futa/trans route for the MC, either. That might add another layer to the emotional tapestry if you're already feeling like you don't quite fit in or feel like you're "not what you should be" somehow. There's already a strong undercurrent of parental expectations and damage fueling the trauma train, that feels like it would only add a bit more spice to your rebellious outcast issues.

Let's start with your most radical idea. My money would be more on Rachel than the mc. It just makes more sense. But I shall one up you! Ellie!
I never thought of Rachel burning down the house. I'm more inclined to blame the crazy guy from the news report. Rachel colluding with Maggy? Yes, please! That would bring a threesome a step closer to actually happening! As I wrote, I could very well imagine Maggy as an "auntie". Hannah and Katie as cousins. As they are of correct age and live separately. Hannah mentioned during the phone call that she can't forbid the mc dating other people as they are not a couple. Now what would happen if they were to get closer is open for debate. The only one I'm not sure how she fits into the greater "family" is Stephanie.
The pills... The pills together with the mystery surrounding Ellie's disappearance were the questions that interested me the most. After Recreations explanation and contemplating the game as a whole I came to the conclusion that they were just a tool to provide sexy scenes with Rachel until she can get seriously involved with the mc. As the provided information was just enough to justify their existence within the story. Yes, I do believe that if we were to dig deeper, we'd find the company making them most likely shady. Or just an unscrupulous business.But that seems to be outside of the realm of the story.
I'm more worried about Ellie. I hope she just ran away from home and the police found her and brought her home.
Rachel's "friend" is another thing that's bugging me. Who is she? Can she be trusted? She slept with Rachel (once), didn't she? Are they still friends? Just friends? Yeah, I may be a bit jealous there. But really, who the hell is she?
The game does keep you on the edge, doesn't it?
Our favorite nympho Jada is another can of worms. For another post as I wanted to share my thoughts on her in her own post.
I have to say, the female mc feels natural within the context of the story. I never felt out of place. It never took me out of the story. And even the number of gay (or bi) woman can be explained by the game taking place in a big city.

So Jada coming from Rachel's room during the time she is known to take the pills immediately raises suspicion. The problem with Jada is that she is a loose cannon. Thus it becomes an issue of trust that she may be doing something sneaky behind the mc's back. And the whole argument about the girls exercising their free will becomes invalid when one of them is under the influence of the pills. That being said we don't know what exactly was Jada doing in Rachel's room. But I would sure as hell confront her about it and her continued presence in the house would depend on the outcome. Simply put abusing the pills is a shitty move. And yes, I admit even the mc using them was kinda shitty. Now I would like to know if it can be avoided and still continue on the "Rachel route".

Considering the pills, two remarks. Yes Jada is a loose canon that does not always thinks about consequences. She is not evil though, so yeah I suspect it wil be wise as Mc to have a talk with her about boundaries and what she did. Throw her out? No, educate and help her grow up a bit yes with maybe a good spanking for good measures.

Second MC using the pills a bit and their function. I suspect that at least part is not even so much to get Rachel interested in sex with MC, since that need is there already in her anyway, it might help breaking her barriers down faster. More important might be actually that MC can trust what Rachel says when under influence of pills and with background of Mc and their common past together MC might need that extra reassurance that she really changed and feels that way now deep down to be comfortable enough to be in a relation with Rachel, whether romantically or just family. Maybe not nice, but considering their past not that weird either.

Throwing her out of the house would be an extreme measure. Not the default one. Only when malice can be proven. It still needs an explanation. Followed by a talk down maybe with spanking on top. I agree that she needs to learn about boundaries.
I have played the "first part" almost a year ago and don't remember the exact words said during interactions with drugged Rachel. Useful they may be, but still questionable.

Maggy could be Rachel's friend... The one she talked with on the phone. And called her that someone with the same name as her child rented an apartment. She of course wanted to visit the mc, when the whole building burned down. And it's natural to assume Rachel offered the mc a place to stay. At least until the mc finds another. Now imagine the surprise on Rachel's face when she finds out Maggy and the mc know each other and vice versa. And in addition would explain why Maggy said she's not against the mc sleeping with their mom.
