At least kind of... I think... well, I'm basically just here to say hello and to show that I'm not dead^^
So, as you know, I've released the WS update in December and then went on holidays for a little over a week. After that I started working on BM again, and have been on it since.
I'm still working on the same scene I started with, which might sound like I haven't done much, but it's one hell of a scene! Almost 200 renders and 13 animations already for that scene alone and I'm far from done with it.
With that being said, here's a little reminder: I'm trying some new stuff, I'll have to test things and experiment a bit to make the stuff look right, which obviously means I'll need some extra time for that.
I don't want to make this another 9-months-in-the-oven-update (even though that was because of the gfx card situation), so that's why the next update will basically be a 0.7.5, rather than 0.8.
The good thing about that is that once I've figured everything out, animations will be a lot smoother and won't take as long to create anymore (sadly still need time to render though :/ ).
Anyway, with that off the table, I've done some changes to the Tiers, nothing too dramatic though:
- I've deactivated/hidden the $1 Tier, simply because it never really made any sense. The fees are so high that you're basically only paying patreon on that tier.
Those of you who are on that tier can stay on it as long as you want, but you'll probably not be able to go back to it, once you've stopped the support.
- $20 + Tiers can now request special render at any time. There won't be any polls anymore. As you've probably noticed, I tend to forget about them, and often have no ideas and I don't like to not deliver what was being promised.
I'll try to make them in a timely manner once requested, unless I dislike the idea, or just don't have enough time/recourses (like at the end of an update cycle). That being said, I won't make 20 special render per month, probably just one, two, or maybe a small series, so please remember that.
Special render will still be released for lower tiers, so no change there.
