I'm guessing it doesn't work with this version because I couldn't even start things with it applied.Still would like to know if the "patch" is going to need an update or fine as is, as waiting to play until then

I figured, that's why I didn't even try, not sure who even makes it, was just trying to get some clarification, but 99% patches like that (since it's quite large) would need an update.

I gave it a whirl just to see, you never know... but it appears my saves are gone, so either a restart was needed at some point or the last time I played was years ago on a different computer... so I'll need the other mod to be updated anyway.
Pardon my ignorance but what "distribution" could there possibly be??? Are you refering to handling your patreon,

Yes, the way it sounds they have a team that is dedicated to certain things, Pateron is not one of the things they control/deal with on a daily basis, but I would assume they have assurances in place to get their cash, and also what they want posted just like on Twitter, where ya know certain people don't actually post the content they are posting

perhaps your coding partner should try and update his "ways" a bit
for example making optional those side images/profile pictures of any character speaking (mc included)?
the first thing i do, in similar cases is to tweak it (aka to remove/disable those "side images", as im finding them a bit annoying, to say at least), so i have to mess up with a code a bit...luckily this game doesnt have (yet?) colored fonts - thats a whole new level of enjoyment, particularly accompanied with "side profile pics".
(damn why did i say it - now that master-codder will spend a few hours adding colored fonts for every and each character...just to annoy me (and those not into "colored font" kink) further
)

Only took a cursory glance at it, but they way I see it you only need an updated patch once you reach past the 0.06b content – partying with the Band and getting Mal's number ('Whatever. Have you even seen a penis before?'
) – unless they added additional scenes in between. The patch is referenced once each on days 9 and 10, supposedly changing how a/the movie plays out and adding options to a scene at the grocery store. To play the game till an updated patch is available, drop a random named rpy file with the following contents into the game's game directory:

Still may look through and see what would need to be done to update it (not for here just for myself if I decide to play). Yeah, it's been a while for me to, so I can't remember what it all entails, but like a lot of games most of time patches come later.
Even on some with official patches, they come even after the release.
I'm in no hurry regardlesss, usually play games both ways to see which way I like it better.
