Last update was delayed due to Covid, my dog dying and then my rig dying and trying to get the maker to honor the warranty. Plus some other stuff I'm sure I forgot about.

This update is being delayed due to return to office including commute and me being promoted to a more demanding position. Sadly, the IRL job pays the bills that kill so it takes priority.

This is 100% true. I tried not to force anyone on people and so if someone skips a girl it will for sure make the game skinny for the player. You can literally play the whole game and not get laid. Probably one reason why we have 67 patrons. I would not make this game again TBH, knowing now what I didn't know then. I wouldn't have so much free will/choice if I started again b/c I do think we get dinged b/c a lot of people want content in one go or don't realize they are missing content. I get it people are busy and have a small window to fap until the wife or parents get home. I get it. I thought replayability would also be a big selling point, but its really not. I'm trying to get Darth our coder to implement a Gallery to hopefully provide some guidance to players but its been in the "to do list" que for a while.

Dang, am a little sad to hear this If my opinion is worth anything, I actually REALLY like how you structure the game with so many choices... and am really honestly confused how someone could manage to play through without bedding a single chick... if they don't like any of the girls maybe and purposefully skip them, but then what are they doing playing this game? Your game is one of the few sex games here that gets me excited for an update, which makes me feel even more guilty for not being a patron because my financial situation right now is ass.

Also, perhaps you should consider that your patron count has more to do with luck (or lack thereof) than anything? I mean, look at Radiant (I'm not here to crap on that game btw, I'm actually a fan, and don't want to derail your thread with a potential argument, so bear with me haha).. they frustrate lots of people with their update schedule such that I don't even want to touch that game's thread with a ten foot pole, yet they also manage to get quite a few patrons.... I genuinely think some devs are just a little more lucky than others, as unfortunately, hard work and results don't always correlate I hope with time your patron count grows because I genuinely am blown away by the combination of update frequency, amount of girls to interact with, amount of routes and scenes per girl (good guy, evil asshole, etc.), quality of writing and especially dialogue, pacing, and quality of renders. I like the pacing of this game and the fact that you go between different girls in different days and honestly think that once this game is finished, people won't have as much trouble remembering who's who or what's what (like another commenter mentioned) because they won't have to put it down for months between updates.

Also, one thing I tried to avoid was the porn game progression, you know, peak, hug, hug slip hand on ass, kiss, french kiss, feel tit, hand job, tit job, blow job, so on and so forth over 10-20 updates. I'm trying to be more realistic. People have sex usually by the third or fourth date or it never is going to happen. I use time as the progression. Once it's decided its not going to be just a kiss, next time a hug or whatever. It's going to go from 0 to 65 or 100, with each girl. In real life, dates don't happen back to back to back, they are spaced over time. IDK if that makes sense to people.

Yeah, when they do that it's annoying. Hand job does nothing for me (foot job a turn off.) I hate when they think you should have to play like 3 hours worth of game time to get any actual sex (vaginal or anal.) Also any sort of grinding is a big no. Glad you saw that that sort of thing is too dragged out.

Yeah, I don't know man... if that's a thing that actually happens a lot, that's on them imo, not you. This must be a thing for basically every sex game because they all have this, right? A number of girls who each get sexual content later? WVM, Grandma's House, Friends in Need, Radiant, etc. I don't know what the most popular games on here are, but I can't see them being any different. I feel like it's just impossible to avoid unless the game is massively rushed in terms of writing.

Absolutely, man; I definitely noticed this and I'm SOOOO pleased that you've avoided that irritating trope because it takes you out of the game imo. I get why a porn game author would want to do that, and I guess it does actually make perfect sense for incest content, but for everything else, it's just not very compelling or immersive. Your game, on the other hand, has a very nice compromise between realism and sexy fantasy that results in a really great, addicting atmosphere and that is definitely partly owed to the pace you've set with progression. Maybe others don't feel the same, but to hell with them hah.

True and even for incest that stairway to heaven makes little sense unless both parties inexperienced, what can be important is reasons why they break a taboo if have one and that one is almost never answered really beyond what is really there already from start of games and makes no more sense after going slow.

One thing I noticed though that may help the devs in future is time delay between dark patch and release. Patch is always later and that might lead to people forgetting about game while waiting for patch. Maybe delay publication until patch available. For the rest interesting game.

Very kind of you to say and I'm really happy you and others enjoyed your time with Mallorie. That was some of the most enjoyable writing I think I've done for the game. I love the way their personalities play off each other b/c they're very different people but find they ultimately have something in common, in music. Now will that be enough? Time will tell.

Yeah, I played porn games for a while before trying to make one and I felt like deja vu over and over with the progress thing and it just didn't feel real to me. I also despise grind and sandbox. God bless to all who love it. You do you. But I thought there had to be a btr way but...maybe there isn't lol. IDK this is all an experiment.

IDK if it happens a ton (people not getting laid in game). But I do think it drives almost 50-80% of our negative feedback just looking at comments and ratings. But maybe that's my perception and not reality IDK. Thanks for the kind words. When we hit family fun that is going to be some of the most difficult writing I think I do, making that real. If you played the fan patch with Abby, I begin to foreshadow how you/MC will turn that corner. It's only there for now. But that foreshadowing will pop up elsewhere if that is the players thing.

Next hardest writing was making Stacy relatable and likable b/c most of you were guns a blazing on first release with an understandable hard no lol.

Thanks, yeah I don't deal with the distribution but I agree. Whomever distributes that patch should release it BEFORE the general game gets released so its out there.

I would think adding a map instead of just going to the next scene would be MORE work. Not sure how adding grind rather than not having to raise any sort of attributes or such would be less work rather than more. Limiting choices, of course. Also annoying AF is when you have to have so high a relationship with a character for anything to happen and missing any little thing means nothing ever happens with them throughout the game.

The map usually has only so many locations. Once programmed it that's it. You basically gate keep. You don't have to work on a scene until you're ready b/c they player needs a thousand points or whatever going to point A (school), talking to teacher, go to point b, so on and so fourth 5-10 times before any additional content. Only to find out there is no new content and wont be until the dev gets around to after people hit 100 points of X. I'm prob not explaining this well.
